Social media is a way to connect people and make them happy. There are any things in the
social media, which makes a person addictive. Many people are suffering from FOMO-Fear of Missing
Out. This is a new breed of disorder in which a person felling anxiety without social media. It is a form of
social anxiety because of social media addictiveness1. There are according to many surveys, it has found
out that many people are feeling isolated on social media and they are feeling pressurized to share
different things on the social media platform.
Fomo is a just an excessive use of social media, which is affecting the social behaviour of people.
There are different types of people, which are addictive from the many types of things and social media
is one of them1.
This report will provide details about FOMO and its side effects, which makes a person isolated
form social media. It will also explain about the social media impacts on people.
Identification
FOMO is a new form of social anxiety in which a person feels isolated or neglected from their
friends and other persons on social media. Many types of anxiety are present in the human body. In
addition, FOMO is a new Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD)3. It is a huge issue in front of social media as well
as people. It can be identify using uses of internet or social media on smartphones. It can provide some
details about our behaviour2.
Fomo is a highly serious disorder and it makes a person different from their real image. It is a
way in which individual can face different health issues. It may cause for serious disorder or mental
disorder, which makes a new habits because of depression.
Social media should provide proper security and monitoring on the behaviour of individuals.
There are many things, which should be considered by an individual. FOMO can be happened because of
individual thinking about behaviour of other towards him.
It can be easily identified from our daily routines and habits. Therefore, individual can manage
their personal health and it makes them happy and stays away from FOMO. It is a serious issue and it
can affects mental health of a person.

There are many ways to analyses the FOMO with different habits of a person and behavior of
that person towards different things. In case of FOMO, people are waiting for people to approach them.
There is always a mindset in individual mind that people are approving them for friendship and other
activities. Body gives disinterested vibes, which means body show different activities. People are super
blunt while chatting5. They make over super image in front of other people. It is a wrong way to
introduce ourselves in front of others. In most of the cases, people are showing up late to everything3.
FOMO makes people to always assuming the worst. Therefore, people are demoralized for
different works and sometimes it is so dangerous for individual from health point of view. A big
disadvantage of the Fomo is forgetting to make eye contact. It makes a fear in individual to make an eye
contact from others, such a meeting, playing in-group, and many others. Social media is a way to hiding
the real person behind a fake image. In addition, individuals are not taking the time to listen. They are
busy in over imagination and ignore others4.
However, FOMO is increasing because of feeling depressed and loneliness and social media is
the reason for that thing. There are many positive and negative things of social media, which makes a
huge impact on the thoughts of individuals5.
FOMO can be cure with the help of different outdoor activities and personal writing and eat
food, physical exercise and many more. There are many ways to reduce depression and loneliness.
Individual can make their person health better with different activities.
Evaluate and justify
Social media makes a person additive from their different types of services especially young
people. They are easily distracted from different activities. Young people want a good image in front of
their social groups and make us superior from others. They do different things for famous in their group.
Therefore, individual are habitual for all the things and if, these things are not happen properly then
they are feeling alone and it is a main reason of FOMO. There are many side effects of FOMO on human
health, such as SAD, Mood swings, depressed, loneliness, and many others1.
Furthermore, People can reduce their FOMO with the help of other activities such as journal
writing, which keeps a record of our own thought and feeling6.

It is concluded that social media is affecting the personal life of individuals form making them
addictive. It is a huge difference between sad and happy. Social media is used for connecting people and
make them social. However, it makes a bad impact on the thinking of individual that they are important
in their circle. Therefore, they feeling isolated and loneliness because their friends are not approaching.
Finally, Social media is making a huge impact on the feeling of individual and it is a big cause of
FOMO, which is a new form of social anxiety disorder.
