Introduction
For designing a dynamic and customized user interface for the food app, several usability
principles have to be ensured. This user interface designing focuses on the looks of the food app
for the restaurant. These interfaces should be easy and pleasurable type material to the
customers. Hence, for maintaining these areas of demand, the heuristic principles must be
followed while designing the user interface for the food app.

also has some links like a home icon, a help icon, about us icon and query icon. The home icon
takes the users to the home page of food app. As the user has not registered yet, so the home
button links to the current booking page only. Help icon takes the customer to the help centre
page which is accessed in case of any help needed. In case of any query, query icon is also
mentioned and for reading more information about the restaurant, about us icon need to be
clicked (Vukovic, 2014).
Components- Icons, text labels, buttons
Corrections- As the book button in first ‘Booking’ screen appears to be very large, so
Harshavardhan Petapalli shrinks the book option for better creation of attraction on the
customers and ensures the heuristic principle of visibility of system. The options in which the

Purpose- After entering the credentials on booking page, the customer has to get logged in the
food app so to access the app for ordering. If the customer has already registered then by directly
entering name and number, login will be successful. If the customer didn’t registered earlier,
then by creating a new account or by a sign in into facebook or google, the registration procedure
will be done.
Components- Icons, text labels, buttons
Corrections- Again for ensuring the first principle of visibility of system, Harshavardhan
Petapalli have changed the button size and colour of ‘create new account’ for ensuring
uniqueness. Alignment of the credentials for ensuring and creating an impression is must which
is done by Rohan Kumar Reddy Dereddy for maintaining the visibility principle of system.

FACEBOOK screen
Purpose- Having an account on Facebook, the customer can use their respective credentials of
Facebook to get register with this food app. The screen has the options for entering the
information, and also have a cross on top for getting back to previous login page (STEVENS,
2017).
Components- Icons, text labels, buttons
Corrections- The background colour of this screen is too much dark and can’t be fitted into
screen requirement, so Harshavardhan Petapalli has changed the background colour. Error
prevention heuristic rule is followed in this context because same colour of screen and button
will confuse the customer and chances of making errors were increased. The alignment of
facebook written log in at centre and the back cross is done by Arjun Nudurupati. The visibility
of system principle is followed here by aligning the data in proper manner.
