Food & Beverage industry consist of production as well as distribution of services related
to the the food. Nowadays, it is one of those sector which is growing rapidly. This industry

beverage industry is also going to discuss in this report. With this, the management skills

requirements & standards that food and beverage industry follows in order to maintain good
relations with subordinates and customer is going to describe in detail. Later, it covers factors

Accommodation &Lodging: This sector basically assist luxury hotels to raises their

facilities to the customers (Donnelly, 2016). They basically targets those peoples who comes
under middle class and cannot afford to take services from luxury hotels.
Two star rating: This hotels is almost similar to one star ratings and targets middle class
societies. It gives extra facilities which includes dining area, Television and many more. The
price of two star rating hotels is slightly high as compare to one star rating hotels. The customer
who prefer to get extra services like restaurants. Televisions in rooms takes the service from this
type of Hotels.
Three star rating: In these type of hotels, the customer get services such as valet

Four star rating: This Hotels is also termed as superior Hotels as it offers comfort and
luxury services to customers (Gibson and Parkman, 2018). Four star rating hotels offers services
like Spa, valet parking, yoga rooms, swimming pools, separate rest areas and so on. This Hotels
also offers bat products of high quality to the customers. Their target market is those people who
belongs from upper class & have the will to spent high amount on stay in hotel. In addition to
this, this type of customers needs comfortable and luxury stay in Hotels.
Five star rating: This type of Hotels are mainly prefer by high class society peoples and
also termed as luxurious Hotels. Five star rating Hotels welcomes their customers with flowers
and in a good appearance which attracts them. The additional services provided to customers are
Club house, Wi-Fi, extra dining area, quality furnishing, high class ambience and many more. By
the assistance of these services, these hotels gain competitive edge at market place which leads to
good market position of the Hotel.
