INTRODUCTION
A food and beverages manager is forecasts the plan and control the ordering food and
beverages for the hospitality industry and property. This also manages all the finance related
whole process of purchasing food and drink of the hotel premises. The present report based on
“Ritz hotel” which is located at prime position on piccadilly in London. The hotel is one of the
world most prestigious and best known hotels. The project is divided into two part ones is fact
sheet and another part will covers in report. The fact sheet will present different types of
businesses in F&B industry with its profiling of selected business. Second fact sheet will explain
the different rating system used in F&B sector. Third fact sheet includes current and future trends
which are affecting to F&B business. Another part of fact sheet will shows the operational and
marketing technology which are help to enhance performance of company.
Second part of project which is report will include different professionals skills within the
organization. This will explain various legal actions and legislations standards that food and
beverages sector. The report will investigate factors influence decision-making process of
consumers. At the end of report, analysis different strategies used in range of food and beverages
for attract more customers and build loyal customers base within the hotel.

In the Food and beverages sector is required various professional skills which are help to
people to grow in business sector in effective manner. Professional skills are plays an very
important and effective role in the business for Growth. Those professional skills are as follows:
Customers services skills:

Customers services are very important professional skill which are important in food and
beverages sector (Davis and et.al., 2018). In respect to Ritz hotel, customers services includes
positive attitude, listening skills for taking order form customers and positive language form
communicate with customers. With the help of this skill, customers are more satisfied and
motivated towards business by playing their effective role. Through that customers are attracted
because they got best services from hotel.
Communication skills:
Communication skill are ability to use when giving and receiving various types of
information. This skill is very important in the food and beverages sector because in that sector
more customers are visit on daily basis. In that case need to use simple and proper language with

FAQ's food quality and standard is concerned with the maintenance and improvement of
the quality and safety of food at the international, regional and national level. This help to
promote the establishment and operations of national regulatory frameworks (Errisuriz, Pasch
and Perry, 2016). This regulation standard are more important to follows by Ritz hotel it deals on
international level in effective manner.
Food safety and inspection services:
The food safety and inspection services are more effective and important for the business
and for its growth. This regulation department is responsible for ensuring the nations supply of

process of them. These factors include satisfaction, perceived values and loyalty, services
quality, food offering, physical environment and connectivity. Those factors are as follows:
Quality of food is influence customer and their decision-making process for purchasing
food. Nowadays customer want the best quality of food against of their paying amount
because they are very health conscious (Martin-Rios and et.al., 2018). In that case they
want the best quality of food with hygienic. This is the factor which can affect to quality
of food.
Cultural factors: Culture factor is also the strong factor which can affect to customers
and their decision-making because most of the Hotel only sales non veg foods but
customer want veg food. Through that customers are note purchase any food with this
particular restaurant. This is factors which can affect decision-making process of Ritz
hotel customers.
Financial factor: Financial factor is totally about needs, backed by a logic that what
makes sense and also fits in the best interest on the customers. This factor also plays a
very important role in the buying decision (Sethi and Richter, 2017). Most of the
customer are not bare higher price of product because their net income is not enough.

beverages because they become a more health conscious. In that case, Ritz hotel can add healthy
and fruity dishes in their menu list with its ingredients list is help to attract more customers
towards the hotel in effective manner (Shahidi, 2015). Through that, hotel manager able to build
loyal customers base in effective manner. This creates more flexibility for peoples in effective
manner because by these customers have knowledge about hygienic food.
Happy hour means happy profits:
The purpose of happy hour is to bring in more customers and boost the sales of hotel
during the slowest time of the day. Most of the hotels are think that happy hour in the late
afternoon Monday to Friday that is up to manager what is their happy hours is going to

2018). Ritz hotel manager if uses this strategy than more customers are attracted towards and
build a loyal customers base because this scheme is best for kitty party, birthday party and
