Overview of the article
The article demonstrated that food security and nutrition are interrelated to climate change,
poverty and agricultural production. Food security is considered as a problem in every country
because it needs to maintain the ability to mitigate the differences among food supplies and
requirements1. There are three key sources of trustworthy, which includes timing, significance
and proximity. The information regarding food security and nutrition is collected by journalists,
and they play a critical role in building consciousness of the problems associated to food safety.
Food insecurity mostly affects poor people and those who suffer from disaster. Enhancement of
food safety is significant throughout the globe in order to decrease poverty, starvation and to
build the world economy. It also revealed that food security influences the social as well as
economic development of every country. The main causes of food insecurity involves the
occurrence of disaster and the rising population of the world2. From the given news clip, it is
found that Africa and India is suffering from a global threat to agriculture due to climate change,
flood and drought.

There are four extents of food safety which includes convenience, access, utilization as well as
stability. It is evident that many developing countries are influenced by food insecurity, and thus,
it is essential to develop an awareness regarding all the issues to promote healthier lives and

interviewing the people, conducting research and observing the problems of food insecurity.
