INTRODUCTION
Foodora is a company which delivers the food from restaurants to the customers for
convince of the customers. The report is going to analyse the external environment of the
company so that there is a better functioning of Foodora. The employees of the company are not
being treated fair which has to be improved by the company so that they can increase their
productivity and get more customers.
PESTLE
Pestle is the macro environment analytical tool which helps business to analyse all the
factors which influence the business activities and reduces the efficacy to grow in market
effectively. This tool also helps to analyse issues and current market trends to innovate products
and services to business to attract more customers and satisfy them effectively. Pestle helps
Foodora to determine all the factors which increases its profitability which impact its goodwill in
the market and helps to compete in the market effectively (Bernáldez and et.al., 2017). There are
six factors which are closely analysed in this macro analysis which are political, economic,
social, technological, environmental, legal factors.
Political Factors
This factor helps business to understand the degree of intervention which the government
activities have on business. It also provides better efficiency to business to understand the
potential of government activities which can increase the market share of company effectively.
Formation of union trades and worker association it has impacted Foodora company to make
proper decision and increase its potential to attract lower cost employees. Change in the
government policies reduces the efficiency of the company to compete in the market and provide
better services to their customers effectively (Santeramo and et.al., 2018). As the company is
also not able to increase their job satisfaction of their employees which reduces the quality of
their services to customers negatively.
Economic Factors
Document Page
Economic factors are the variable factors which are directly related to the economy of the
nation which can impact the financial performance of the business. Foodora impacted by the
change in the taxation polices of the market which reduces the cost of operation. Due to increase
in inflation it also increased the cost of company and impacted its profit margins. This also
reduces the performance of company to pay its employees and increases the gap of job
satisfaction and employee turnover negatively (Oraman and et al., 2018). Economic slowdown in
the market increases the unemployment rates and proves the opportunity to gain better profits
with cheaper labour. This also helps to increase the efficiency of the company to compete in the
market.
Social Factors
It is very important that Foodora is not just considering the society needs and wants but also
the employees of the company because they are the backbone of the organization (Rastogi and
Trivedi, 2016). The organization is being able to satisfy the need and demands of the employees
but the company will not be able to achieve their objectives as long as the employees of the
company are not satisfied. It is very important for the employees to deliver the services and
products to the customers properly and create a standard for the organization.
Technological Factors
There is a lot of advancement which is visible in the customers which is being delivered by
Foodora and is very satisfactory for the customers. There is a development of the customers
globally and this company has a large growth in the future if the services of the company are
improved from time to time (Gayas and Kaur, 2017). The riders in the company have to be taken
as employees who are trained and developed to technology so that they can make the customers
have a better experience which is very important for the company which will give the company a
competitive advantage.
Legal Factors
The employees need to be provided with the best of environment to work in and the riders of
Foodora are riding even in the harsh weather conditions so that they can reach to the customers
on time. This deserves a better treatment of the riders from the company and the customers as

well so that they can be paid right and they give their best in the organization. The company has
to take some legal actions in the company so that they can provide the employees with the best of
environment and comfort so that the company can improve their services to the customers which
is a very important factor for the up gradation of the reputation of Foodora (Perera, 2017).
Environmental Factors
The company is taking care of the environment because there are no customers who are
littering the environment and the harm on the environment has reduced. There are very less
people who travel so that they can reach out to the restaurants. There are e-bikes which are
being used by Foodora so that they can contribute to making the climate better (Zhao and
Dou, 2019). They have to go through the extremes of conditions which are why they put their
best to change it.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that Foodora is having a good market share but
the employees of the company are not being treated fair which can be improved in the
organization. There have to be different strategies and training to the employees which has to be
given so that they can have a better functioning for themselves.
RECOMMENDATIONS
It is recommended for Foodora that they treat their employees well so that they can give a
better service and experience to their customers who will help the company to expand
themselves in other countries. This is a very good service which the organization has come up
with and this can make the organization have a better market share. Customers want a simpler
and comfortable living which Foodora is providing the customers with so that there is a better
functioning. Employees of the company have to be trained and developed so that the standards of
Foodora can be increased which is going to be very beneficial for a long run of the company in
the market.
