Foodvan is an online organization based in Australia and provides food products and
services to the customers on the basis of online order. It provides ready to eat meals to the
consumers and also have a strong base of approx 100,000 customers that purchase food products.
Foodvan also provides grocery items such as fresh food and vegetables to the buyers and also
tries to provides best quality products and services to the customers. In order to understand the
needs and the requirements of the buyers the company would like to introduced or implement the
Customer Relationship Management Solutions (CRM) solutions. This will help the firm in order
to gain the attention as well as the trust of the customers. It also provides the delivery of the
products to the consumers within thirty minutes or less and tries to facilitate them by maintaining
the convenience, choice, speed and the price.
As Foodvan is an online store so it used analytics in order to build or grow the data-
centric approach for the betterment and the development of the business. This effort will create
better outcomes for the enterprise and also helpful in making the new strategies for the business
to increase the revenue or the income. After analysing the market and the demand of the
customers the organization make a new plan to provide a fruit basket that contains the five most
popular fruits. The vice president of the research and development department in the firm is Al
Coles and put efforts to achieve the desired goals and objectives. The main goal of the Foodvan
is to attract more and more customers and to use the data transactions in a cost effective way.
In order to understand or crunch the data the firm used Tableau software which is one of
the fastest and the strongest growing visualization tool. For the successful implementation of the
Tableau the company have the IT personnel that are specialised in SQL and MS access so that it
can be able to talk directly to the POS database. Foodvan have the two source of income or the
revenue streams that are required to be optimised. The use of the new and advanced technology
assist the firm to easily analyse the data of the customers and also facilitates them for the growth
of the business. By using the big data analytics the company tries to fulfil the needs of the buyers
on the basis of three main factors such as price, convenience and choice. Foodvan also provides
fastest or the quickest delivery of the ready to eat meals to the customers and also takes the
feedback from them in order to do the improvements in the services. After the implementation of
the CRM strategy and the Big data the annual sales of the Foodvan is doubled that is approx
