INTRODUCTION
Sports coaching can be defined as the art of inflating the physical, mental, technical and
strategic skills of players of a particular game or athletes (Renshaw and et. al. , 2019). The
importance of coach within the sports industry is extensive. This can be said on the basis of the
premise that almost each and every sports person or athlete in the modern era is guided and
trained by an individual coach. Such types of coaches provide the athletes or sports persons with
a lucrative opportunity to enhance their agility and their thinking abilities in an effective manner.
This allows them to ace the sport or any sporting event. This lays down the foundation to
development of strong athlete coach relationship. It acts as a key force in facilitating the
development of physical as well as psycho social skills within the personality of the athletes
(Ives and et. al., 2019). This provides assistance to the sports persons playing any sport to
become paramount in relation to their sports skills and knowledge. The current project is based
upon the coaching principles applied within the sport of Football.
MAIN BODY
In association football, the duties of any coach vary in accordance with the scale on
which they are coaching along with the country in which coaching is being given. Within youth
football, the main intent of a coach is to provide assistance to players in developing their
technical skills while focussing upon the fair play of that sport (Otte, Millar and Hüttermann,
2019). With the passage of time, coaching has emerged to be a significant aspect which shapes
the athletic personality of a sports person. The report consists of a one hour session plan for
football prepared by a coach for football team member / members.

is an easy way for coaches to plot
the wining strategies and plans.
Introduction:
Warm up activities : Drills and Games :
This will include the following
10 minutes jogging – You have to
jog for at least 10 minutes before
practising the game
Squat – This means standing with
your feet by widening the hip area .
The toes have to be tilted and
shoulders will be relaxed. You have
to keep back straight and bend the
knees down. You have to put weight
on heels and not on toes.
Linear knee raise – This includes
standing tall with the feet hip width
apart and arm resting at the sides.
Walking lung with rotation – This
is done by taking feet hip width
apart and extending arms in front of
you. After that, step forward with
one foot into a lung and bending
both knees.
Inchworm – you have to keep the

Walk on the spot, moving
arms in a gentle swinging
motion.
Touch shoulders with
hands, then reach up over
head. Repeat five times.
Skip slowly on the spot.
Skip side to side.
Jump or hop on the spot.

The training is effective as there are

is used while training. These
coaches have tremendous block by
an offensive lineman and then
watching the running back again of
the opposition.

CONCLUSION
On the basis of above discussion, it can be said that coaching is a vital part of every
sports or athletic activity. In addition to this, it is identified that coach is a person who is engaged
in giving instructions, directions and training to an individual sports person or a sports team so as
to build their sports skills and knowledge. This helps the sports person or team to carry out fair
play at the time of game.
