INTRODUCTION
Sports coaching can be defined as the art of inflating the physical, mental, technical and
strategic skills of players of a particular game or athletes (Renshaw and et. al. , 2019). The
importance of coach within the sports industry is extensive. This can be said on the basis of the
premise that almost each and every sports person or athlete in the modern era is guided and
trained by an individual coach. Such types of coaches provide the athletes or sports persons with
a lucrative opportunity to enhance their agility and their thinking abilities in an effective manner.
This allows them to ace the sport or any sporting event. This lays down the foundation to
development of strong athlete coach relationship. It acts as a key force in facilitating the
development of physical as well as psycho social skills within the personality of the athletes
(Ives and et. al., 2019). This provides assistance to the sports persons playing any sport to
become paramount in relation to their sports skills and knowledge. The current project is based
upon the coaching principles applied within the sport of Football.

Application of key coaching techniques for planning and delivering of safe coaching session
In every sport like Football, it is very essential to have effective coaching from a well skilled
coach and guide. Using of some techniques for giving coaching for improving the skills of a
person so they will be able to perform all the activities in more effective manner . Similarly in
case of Football, some techniques need to be followed by the coach which needs to be in a
systematic manner are going to be discussed as follows:
Step One: Analyse: Collect as well as interpret all the essential elements need for the sports
while performing in a positive manner. It is necessary to examine the gaps where by giving
coaching to the individual person help in filling the gap. For this, best methods need to be used
by the coach so they will be able to identify the improvement area. By doing so, a person can
easily improve its weak area and gain opportunities in near future related to this.
Step Two: Prepare: Before starting the coaching session, it is essential for setting the coaching
objective, emphasising on one or more behaviours. By preparing everything in a systematic
manner, an individual person will be able to improve its skill related to the sport. Therefore,
proper planning is essential before giving the guidance.

This is the first stage where the learner do not have any kind of skill set yet. Individual do not
understand or see any kind of reason to learn or improve the skill.
Stage 2: Conscious Incompetence
At the time of second stage learner is getting awareness about the skills which are lack in
him and need to improve the skills. This stage is when learner want to learn the skill so that they
can improve their skills and get opportunity.
Stage 3: Conscious Competence
In the third stage learner gain the knowledge but is not yet skilled or mastered in the field.
By doing this the evaluation of current improvement can be done.
Stage 4: Unconscious Competence
At the end in the fourth step, learner become well skilled and mastered in the field where
they will not forget the learned skills. There this stage refers to the end phase where individuals
