Europcar is a rental car organisation of France which was found in the year 1949 in Paris.
Company operates their business in more than 140 nations including Africa, Western Asia,
Europe, North America, etc. In order to expand their business, evolve in market along with
meeting their objectives and target, company need proper market analysis. (Schimmel, 2013).
For this, company needs to evaluate the internal environment of business for which SWOT
analysis is made that is mentioned as below:
The major strength is company's brand recognition, strategy of positioning, their strategy
of consumer centric service, cost worthy offer, etc. These policies and serviced of Europcar
create company's unique recognition among their consumer. Reduced cost of labour and
experiences units of business are strengthening the position of firm in market. Also, company
provides better monetary and non-monetary assistance which is effectively helping in retaining
the clients. With strengths, this is fundamental to analyse weaknesses for balancing the growth.
As company has its presence in the global market, management of activities of various
departments is difficult and complex that is one of the major drawbacks of Europecar. Also, they
are less employee centred which leads to lack of satisfaction among workers that may lead to
conflict situations in Europcar. There are several other limitations which restrain the growth of
company such as future market size i.e. enlarging each day more and more creating a wide
competition. Future productivity can also be considered as one of the weaknesses.
While looking forward to find the development chance, it is necessary to evaluate
opportunities. Europcar has already expanded their business in several nations by increasing the
demand of their services among consumers. Through the implementation of unique and effective
strategies, enterprise can expand and move their business in global market. New market has
rendered them deployment opportunities. Also, the growing economy of United Kingdom is
supporting the employment which company is providing that can lead to better offers and
development opportunities. As opportunities support the growth, there are always some factors
which threaten the chances evolution of enterprise (Ommani, 2011). As globalisation have
supported the opportunities of expansion of business, there are various issues and conflicts which
may emerge. For Europcar, developing local players and competitors can threaten business of
respected company in the future. They should be more focused over moving competitors and
towards external environment of business for sustaining in an effective way.

Thus, through analysing the strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities of
development, organisation can meet their objectives of business. This can be possible to reverse
the weaknesses or threats in the upcoming opportunities and strengths enhancing the existing
opportunities of development. Also, enterprise can make necessary changes through analysing
the situation to light over growth and policies of Europcar (van Wijngaarden, Scholten and van
Wijk, 2012). Through assessment of this theory, proper planning of upcoming strategies and
activities can be done in an efficient manner. Also, main benefits of these activities lie when this
assists in reducing the issues and weak aspects of enterprise making it stronger and better.
