Topic:
Role of Foundation skills in doing research in solving the problems of the world.
Research Question:
Do the Foundation skills are enough to carry out a research project and are able to solve the
problems of the world?
Rationale:
The main reason behind this topic is to analyse whether research can solve the problems
emerging in this world or not (O'leary, 2017). There are many issues like children suffering from
hunger, evils of terrorism, stopping religious persecution and many more. The research ensures
that the project is able to address all these issues and find certain solutions. There are real and
genuine values in research which can help to respond to the tangible needs but the need is to
make specific decisions to improve the situation.
Research Methods:
Qualitative type of research was done in order to evaluate the views and opinions of the students
and the supervisors (Total 30). The sample chosen consisted of some students and certain
supervisors who filled the questionnaire given to them which was primary data collection
method. Literature review was also done by analysing the already published journals.
Results:
The results obtained were like that majority of the students and supervisors believed that research
can find the solution of any of the issue in the whole world as in the research all the aspects of
the topic are covered.
Findings were supported by the previous researches as the secondary sources from the already
published articles also evaluated that the research project are enough to identify the solution to
any of the problem.

Limitations:
The respondents were less in number but the research made justifies use of the available ones as
they represented the whole community. Resources were also less along with the cost but the
scholar made complete use of the available ones. Statistical data was not considered as the
research was qualitative but it helped in analysing the opinions of individuals.
Implications:
It can be concluded from the findings of the research that the research project can be proved to
be enough in order to solve the issues of the world as it analyses the topic from all the
perspectives which helps in drawing significant conclusions and optimal results.
