Employability skills are those skills that are required by an individual to work on an
organisation. An individual that possess employability skills are able to perform their work
efficiently and achieve the goals and objectives of the organisation on time. It is vital for an
employee to develop those skills as that makes them more effective to work. A person that has
good employability skills is more confident and able to work with positivity. There are different
skills that are required to perform various jobs but some skills are common and required by
individuals if they are willing to work for the organisation and help them meet the targets of the
company. Interpersonal skills are required by individual to perform job and it includes good
communication skills as that is required by an employee at every level (Lei and Zehrer, 2018).
Communication is required in every job at an employee has to interact with customers, suppliers,
team members and all the people that are working in the organisation. A person having good
communication is able to develop relations and interact with customers in such a way that they
are attracted towards the organisation and able to achieve the goals and objectives. I have
analysed that a person having good communication skills is able to make relations easily and
gain loyal customers. As per my analysis listening skills are equally important and required by an
employee as that helps to understand the work and perform the job responsibility and an
employee who possess good listening skills is able to take effective decision making
(Lordkipanidze, 2019). Not only interpersonal skills but there are many skills that an employee
should develop to achieve the tasks and responsibility on time. The various skills that are
required by an individual to get a job and perform job effectively are presentation skills,
negotiation skills, knowledge of software, analytical skills, decision making skills, conflict
handling skills and many more. I believe that a person should know about all the strengths and
weakness as that helps to focus on strengths and take actions to improvise the weakness. SWOT
Analysis is an important part that a person should do as it helps to perform effectively.
Analytical skills help an individual to analyse the things properly. As per my analysis conflict
solving ability should be present in an employee as it will help the person to solve the conflicts.
A person should have good conflict solving ability as while working in an organisation there
exist many problems and it is important to solve those problems. An employee that has good
conflict solving ability is able to come out of such situations and is able to solve the problems
that have arisen during work. It is important to have this ability as the person is that has good

conflict solving skills is able to work effectively and focus on own work. I also believe that
presentation skills re key drivers that helps an employee to become successful. It is important to
have good presentation skills as many times there is requirement to present and make customers
or other employees understand the concepts (Mazana, 2018). Statical analysis should be strong
as it is important to make calculations on time and work accordingly. Good analytical skills also
help to set targets and accomplish them on time as it is helps to complete the work on time. An
employee has to deal with many stakeholders like customers, suppliers, clients and an employee
that possesses good negotiation skills is able to deal with all of them. I personally believe that if
an employee has good negotiation skills are able to gain beneficial deals (Perloff, 2020).
I analysed from my experience that To get good job and work effectively it is important
for an individual to have all the skills such as communication skills as that are important while
performing the all the activities. Listening skills are also important as I analysed from my job
that listening skills help to understand things better and perform all the tasks effectively.
To become successful and achieve all the targets on time it is important that an employee
should have time management skills. A person that has ability to manage time is able to help the
organisation in achieving goals and objectives on time. Managing time means an employee is
able to plan the schedule and then accomplish it. The employee is able to work for the betterment
of organisation and is motivation for other employees. I believe that an employee who has ability
to manage is able to successfully accomplish its job responsibility. It is vital for an employee to
manage work in time as that will help him to be recognised and gain profits. As per my analysis
an employee should have good knowledge of Microsoft office programmes as it helps to
complete the work easily and on time (Piller, 2017). Knowledge of software is required in
employees as they need to work of Microsoft word and excel during their job. It helps to
complete the tasks on time and keep proper record of the work done. It is vital to have good team
working skills as to work smoothly in an organisation. While working in an organisation an
employee has to work in a team. It is important to build good relation and communicate
effectively with all, the employees that are part of the cream. An employee should build proper
relations with all team members and work together as a task that is assigned to a team needs to
be completed by all the members. It is analysed that to work in an organisation it is important or

an employee has conflict handling skills then he is able to accomplish all the work that is
assigned to team on time by solving all the conflicts as and when they arise. Additionally,
intelligence is required by an individual while working. All the skills are managed if the person
