times. This is particularly used in the field where an organization tends to manage a large
project that consists of multiple stakeholders (Russell, Pferdehirt & Nelson, 2018). Moreover,
this is significantly identified as a tool for providing focus to everyone regarding the different
issues that persists in different weeks within the project. These reports can significantly
highlight the different activities of the various stakeholders associated with the project. It
significantly provides a level of clarity to the different stakeholders about the project. This
addresses the following:
 The current project status
 The overall progress
 The significant decisions that are to be made
 The further actions that are to be taken
 The effects of the overall points on the overall project
In addition to this, there are significant challenges or pitfalls that are identified within the
status reports of the different projects. These are depicted as follows:
1. The executives associated with the project cannot significantly rely on the staff
associated with the project as well as the other employees that provides accurate
results of the project in regards to its status information (Kinsey, 2016). The project
executives should be enough responsible for the fact that they could speak up for the
problems that may arise within the overall project execution procedure.
