Career Direction
My career direction is into graphic designing and
film editing and I have chosen this course due to
my core interest in graphics. My interest in
innovating new things and using by skills to
design something new motivated me to adopt
this course. I opted for digital media as I have
knowledge about Photoshop, adobe illustrator
and many more. Due to my improved graphic
designing skills and interest in artworks
motivated me to have detail understanding about
this course.

 Additionally, I have also worked for a
part time job in graphic designing that
allow me to have on-job experience. I
am planning to be a successful graphic
designer.

My future plans
I have planned to take additional courses for
developing my skills beyond university. Apart
from university courses I have planned to
enhance by creativity by designing new
products and have started taking online
tutorials about web designing courses so that
I can learn more. Apart from that I am also
working on a side project so that I can learn
about new skills and this have also helped me
in associating self-discipline.

I have also developed a social platform
with other designers were I communicate
with them and learn about the trends.
They have offered me to work as a
freelancer, so apart from university
courses I get hand on hand experience.

Industry sector
Being a graphic designer I can be a part of
manufacturing industry, publishing or
manufacturing industry, computer system
design or other design services can be an
option. I would like to be a part of design
services so that i can use by knowledge and
skills to build up new products. Design
services do not limit the designing part and
can be a successful industry for all the
graphic designers.

Issues that are there related to graphic
designer
Graphic designers need to spend a lot of
money on branding as they need to make
their first impression worth it. The
competition in the field of graphic
designing is increasing day by day. Thus,
designers face a point of saturation.

Designers are increasing in the market
day by day thus it is becoming hard for
those making buying decisions to
understand the value of established
designers vs. talented creators with little
to know experience. This means their
experience of working with professional
designers and the cost/value of that gets
diluted.
