Introduction:
The major problem in the case of the Western Australia is the fuel storage systems
which is already and cannot store any further amount of the fuel in the systems. The work of
the organisation is to provide fuel to the surrounding states located around the Australia. The
organization own various stores in the systems (Fleming & Koppelman, 2016). The western
Australians tank is one of such old tank which have become one of the oldest system. The
report focuses on the part that the western Australian tank is re-structured and bought to new
stage without disturbing the normal schedule. The project will focus on the part that the tank
must be working all time thought the repairing project. The project schedule and the working
style is also provided in the research.

In order to make the project happen one has to complete the following tasks for the
process of completion of the project:
Task 1:
The capacity of the tank is approximately one billion litres, which is the maximum
amount of the patrol that can be kept in the tank. But if the tank is entirely filled up then there
are risk about the breaking of the tank. In order to avoid such circumstances the entire tank is
not always filled up. Due to old age of the tank there are certain small cracks and crevasses in
the tank though which the patrols is leaking (Harrison & Lock, 2017). This needs to be filled
up in order to reduce any of the loss. Of the organisation. There are 4 steel pacts which needs
to be filled up with and make nessecery changes in the tank. Also there are 4 steel anchors
that are needed to be fitted which will help the workers work above the tank in case. Also the
entire tank is to be cleaned and from the inside in order to remove any of the contamination.

Other than this the entire tank is to be painted blue in order to reduce the heat generating from
the tanks. Also the colour blue is environmental friendly. Other than this the tank is also to be
filled up by during the entire processes of the repair. The capacity of the tank is 1million litre
and can be filled up entirely in 4 to 6 hours, therefore the workers will get at most of 4 hours
of time to complete the repair process and then the tank has be filled up (Heldman, 2018).
There is huge chance off miss scheduling of the entire tsk and the risk is to be taken in order
to get the work done. After the completion of the task the tank last up to the next 40 year
without any further repair work.
Tank 2:
This tank is slightly bigger than the tank one and has a capacity of holding 3 million
litters of unleaded petrol. This tank also is also having some of the major defects that is
needed to be filled up urgently and repaired. This needs to be filled up in order to reduce any
of the loss. Of the organisation. There are 4 steel pacts which needs to be filled up with and
make nessecery changes in the tank. Also there are 4 steel anchors that are needed to be fitted
which will help the workers work above the tank in case. Also the entire tank is to be cleaned
and from the inside in order to remove any of the contamination. Other than this the entire

There are serious pressure from the commercial organisation and demand for the petrol that is
stored in the tank 2.

Tank 3:
The tank 3 is the biggest tank among the all is has to be done with utmost priority as this is
the main reservoir of the petrol’s, the tank 1 and the tank 2 are filled up with the petrol that
are stored in this tank. Other than the cleaning and the repairing of the tanks and colouring
the same there is also an urgent need of changing the steel valve of the same. The new steel
valve has be made up of stainless steel (Kerzner, & Kerzner, 2017). The filling time of this
tank is approximately 18 to 20 hours so the worker will get a very less amount of the time to
complete the entire task in time. But has to be done so that the petrol in this tank gets filled
up to the other tanks before the new consignments arrives. Also there are 4 steel anchors that
are needed to be fitted which will help the workers work above the tank in case. Also the
entire tank is to be cleaned and from the inside in order to remove any of the contamination.

Other than the short time interval for the purpose of the repairing of the tanks there
are also some of the other challenges that are needed to be faced. There are some of the
serious site challenges that has to be dealt with in order to complete the project. All the
direction of the site is of commercial use. On one side there are loading docks while the other
side has a road dead-end leading to container termination (Kostalova, Tetrevova & Svedik,
2015). On the third side there is a filling factory so the side cannot be used. All the works in
any of the tanking has to be stopped while the tanks are getting refilled as there are huge
chances of fire as of the highly inflammable fuel. This is the one of the most important
challenge that has to be taken care of. In order to work with tanks the engineers and the
workers will need a small crane and scaffoldings. This work has to be done in the day light
as there are very much of the low light in the night. Also the workers has to take protective

measures in order to get down the tank and work in the environed. If all the works are not
done in proper time then the organisation may face a loss of $3 every hour. Which is a huge
loss for the organisation. The team has to do very precise work in order to complete the work
done in a proper manner.
Management plan:
Management plan can be explained as the property of the management to explain the plans
and other objectives and goals and planned approach in a planned manner. In this case the
work of the management is to fix the right schedule of the task in order to do the task in a
rightful time and with less delay (Laudon & Laudon, 2016). A proper management plan must
include several properties that are listed below:
The management plan must give a proper goal of the project which in is case is the
process of the repairing work of the tanks.
The plan must include the list of the actions that has to be taken to achieve the goals,
which in this case is that task of repairing all the 3tanks properly.
One of the other important work of the management is to decide the roles and
commitments of the personal for the task. This is one of the key thing to be done as if the
work of even one person is not done in proper way then may lead to the delay of the entire
project.
The management also must be able to deal with all the modification of the going to do
in this task.
There are several tools that makes up the management plan work in a proper way.
Some of the important tools that are needed to be followed (Li, et al .,2015).

the organising them in proper groups for the purpose based on their natural relationship.

given task.
o The matrix diagram- it helps in the measuring the relationships In between two of the

Project performance evaluation can be explained as the performance measurement
that is done or performance evaluations by the customers for the project. Some of the major
processes of the project performance evaluation are
1. Schedule: This is one of the major aspect for the project performance evaluation. In
this case the schedule is the most important aspect of the entire project (Markatos et
al.,2013). As the filling up of the tanks and the repairing work has to be done
simultaneously therefore following a strict schedule is one of the major aspects in the
system. Falling behind the schedule may lead to failure of the project and hence can
make a huge loss for the organization (Too & Weaver, 2014). Therefore a strict
schedule has be followed.

2. Quality: The quality of the project of the project has robe such that the tanks again
lasts for the next 50 years without any maintenances and cost. It can be said that if the
work is done in proper manner this can help in the process of the maintaining the
quality of the project. Further it can be said that the quality is one of the think all must
possess. The quality of the tank is already of high class as it has given the services for
maintain for the upcoming years.
3. Cost: This is one of the major factor for the process of the repairing of the task, it can
be said that transition needs to maintain the proper cost value (Teixeira et al., 2016)..
As the broken tanks can hamper a loss of 3$ per hour it becomes tougher for the
managers to hold on to profit (Tromp & Homan, 2015). A onetime investment in the
developing of the tank and repairing them can help the transition in dealing with the
onetime process (Nicholas & Steyn, 2017). Tis will also help the organization is
saving the money for the upcoming years as the tank may go on for the next 30 years
without any of the maintenances.
4. Stake holder’s satisfaction: this is the most important for any of the project, if the
shareholders are not satisfied with the work of the project then the entire time and the
value of the project goes to vain. The organization has to do the work in such a
manner that the stakeholders get the property in proper manner (Schwalbe, 2015). In
this project the major shareholders are the public who buys the petrol, hence in order
to make the public happier the organization has to try hard and fill-up the tank.
Project Closure
Going through the entire case study and implementing the project plan required for
the aircraft manufacturing process, it can be said that the project implementation has a scope

Homan, 2015) (Tromp & Homan, 2015). Australian western had appointed the Project
Director to implement a medium sized passenger jet market which would be able to directly
compete with the Big Two in the market. The implementation of the project plan can come to
a further closure with two steps in particular which would be justified in details as follow:
Quality Management: The set of procedures that ensure the total deliverables
of a team form the Quality Management Process. Quality Management
ensures that the product or service is consistent. The Project Head is bound to
have four primary components including the quality planning, quality control,
quality improvement and quality assurance (Sligo et al., 2017). It is not only
focused on the service and the product quality but is also focused primarily on
the ways by which the products and services of the company is achieved.
Quality assurance and control of processes as well as products are used by
Quality Management to gain a much more consistent quality (Turner, 2016).
Therefore, it is essential that the project must have a quality management
procedure after the implementation of the plan.
Risk Management: The systematic application of management policies,
practises and procedures to establish the tasks of identifying, analysing,
contesting, treating, assessing, monitoring and communicating is known as
Risk Management in an organization (Verzuh, 2015). To establish proper risk
management strategy and make it work effectively, it is necessary that a group
be established to work upon the issue of establishing the risk management
process in order to have a good understanding of the objectives being
considered. Since, an aircraft is pretty vulnerable to risks associated with it, it
should be kept in mind that the project implementation should keep on

monitoring the entire project during its runtime for the occurrences of any kind
of associated risks.
In addition, it should be kept in mind that constant monitoring and incident
management planning should be introduced as after-procedures of the project handling
making a feasible project closure. Attaining all the documentations regarding the risk
assessment and control of the project would make it a flawless procedure. This is the way by
which the project can establish a proper closure.
Conclusion
It can be said that if all the tanks are repaired in a proper manner then the need of the
maintenance of the same a can has not to be done in the upcoming year hence this will reduce
the cost management of the organisation and will create more and more revenue for the
organisation. Hence concluding the topic it can be said that the repairing process for the tanks
must have to be done in the given time interval for the betterment of the organisation.
