is responsible to attract an increasing number of tourists every year(Ziolkowski, al-Tikriti&
El Maalouf, 2015). Several infrastructural advancements as well as expansion in residential
and hotel industrieshas been presently planned to contribute to the rising level of charisma
and magnetism of the region. One of the significant contributors of the Fujairah international
trade is the European nationals that are responsible for almost fifty percent of the nation’s
economy ranging from years 2011-2013 (Kotsi& Michael, 2015). However, it must be taken
into account that Fujairah it is with exceptional geographical setting and cultural stability has
been able to accomplish the intensifying requirements of diverse nationalities.
Evaluation and Discussion
The tourism industry of Fujairah has performed impressively in the last decade. The
rising demands of the tourists have increased by almost five percent in 2005. Further to it, the
following years experienced a five times more growth of tourists, which eventually lead to an
increase of almost sixty five percent by the end of 2007(Alkaabi, Debbage&Touq, 2013).
However, it must be noted that the construction of a major highway which is in relation to the
Dubai and Fujairah link in less than half an hour is considered as one of the biggest
contributors to the growth of this region. The proposed project of construction of six-lane
Dubai-Fujairah connectivity along with a one billion estimated Sharjah-Kalbafreeway has
been believed to be immensely influential to Fujairah. Several other investments have been
undertaken to expand the connectivity of Fujairah it other emirates as well. Even though
tourism plays a significant role to the economy of Fujairah and UAE, there are some risks
and challenges to the Fujairah government, which are required to be resolved. The primary
concern of the Fujairah tourism lies on the lack of detailed information the tourists could
gather related to the location. The major reason behind this is that, Fujairah has long been
behind the tourists’ knowledge and awareness in relation to other locations such as
is responsible to attract an increasing number of tourists every year(Ziolkowski, al-Tikriti&
El Maalouf, 2015). Several infrastructural advancements as well as expansion in residential

Dubai(Karolak, 2017). However, this has led the place to be unobserved as a standalone and
individual destination. The Fujairah in recent times, has been failing to provide productive
funding to the State, which has led to the association of the emirates with the UAE federal
government. This linkage of financial scheme will provide support to the team that has its
operations on the Emirates Gate of GFS reports in the process of collection as well as
compilation of administrative information mutually from both the parties(Katzman, 2013).
However, it must be take into account that this newly introduced linkage will certify the
execution and operation of global standards in the organization of financial policies. This
association would further contribute to accomplish various international demands in global
administrative economic statistics.
Conclusion
Therefore, from the above discussion it can be concluded that free business and
trading zone of Fujairah has been enhancing the economy level of the UAE with factors such
as cement industries, global tourism, and advanced technological expertise.
Fujairah’sstrategically placement between the east and west has transformed it to a core of
marine navigation. The paper explores certain areas, which has led to immense development
and noteworthy economic boom. The youngest emirate has been experiencing enormous
abundant natural capital as well as effective and valuable investment policies further paving
its way to become one of the leading preferences for business ventures. However, Fujairah
must initiate several infrastructural strategies in order to make the city the most popular
tourist attraction. The Fujairah Goverment must join hands with the Archeology and Heritage
Department to strengthen the youngest emirate’s tourism infrastructure.
