Global Networks and Innovation Project: Fujitsu Analysis

This project presents an analysis of global networks and innovation, focusing on the economic analysis of Japan and the network of Fujitsu. The project includes a poster visualizing the Japanese economic system, including major industries, innovation, FDI, and GDP growth. It also involves a critical review of another poster focusing on Japan's National Innovation System. The core of the project is a complete analysis of a dataset related to Fujitsu's parent-subsidiary network, including centrality measures (betweenness, closeness, eigenvector, and degree), structural holes, density, core-periphery structure, and subgroups. The analysis reveals Fujitsu Ltd as the central company, and the project concludes with potential future strategies for the firm, emphasizing improved communication and expansion through subsidiaries.
