Evidence based practice is an essential concept that refer to purposeful use of the best and
latest evidence in making the most effective and important decisions about patient and health
care. It can be a problem solving approach to the delivery of health care that integrates the best
evidence from studies, research and patient care information with clinician expertise and patient
preferences and values. EBP is the integration of clinical expertise, patient value and the best
research evidence in to the decision making process fro health care. Evidence based practice is
important for applying clinical care which is based on cultural tradition. The aims and objectives
of EBP is provide the high quality and cot effective health services to the clients so that they can
feel satisfaction. It is helpful to keep practices current, relevant and maximizing confidence in
decision making. The key principle of EBP is to use the best and most recent evidence for
making good healthcare decisions which are helpful for healthcare industry. This report will be
discussed about the role of research for evidence based practice in health and social care. Further
will be defined about the key literature which will be helpful for making improvement in care

patients. For example, in health care sector, a person is suffering from Tuberculosis then the
person required some extra and effective care like, different type of healthy food, hygienic
clothes and proper need of cleaning extra. In effective care, healthcare providers have a
responsibility to safeguard all patients from harm and minimize risk.
Reduce cost of patient care- EBP is important to minimize the fund of sick people by
planning ahead for urgent and emergency care. For example, health and social care sector, there
are various organisation which are also work for social care and they are also offer medicines
and health care products at affordable and minimum rate. So that normal people can also

following:
Ask- This is the first step step, in it the information is gathered by asking questions and
converting the need for information about diagnosis, prevention, prognosis, causation and

evidence with which to answer the question.

Being a researcher to conduct a literature review, I will required good reading, writing,
communication, critical thing and time management skills. For conducting this process, I have
good reading, writing and time management skills. These all skill are helpful for writing a
effective literature and completing it on time. With the help of reading skill, I gather effective
and required evidence according to the topic and issue. It help me in collecting only sufficient
and relevant data. Cause of effective and good writing skill, there are lack or minimum chances
of generating mistakes and issues related to grammatical, spellings and punctuation errors. It
help in providing an effective shape to my work. Due to having good time management skill, I
complete my work on time and categorised it in different sections. So that I can divide specific
time to each task and then finish it in set period of time.

influence
There are different skills like report writing, data collection, planning and scheduling,
critical analysis, time management, critical thinking, problem solving and others are required to
conduct ethical research. These all skills are required to conduct n ethical research because they

create positive impact on practice and provision in health and social care. Researcher can
complete their research in effective and ethical manner with the help of these skills. For example,
if an individual conducting a research regarding a disease like Tuberculosis, then with the help of
report writing skill, the person can prepare a report regarding it. With the help of data collection

research in ethical manner. Time management skill help useful for categorised the work in small

Each and every patient who comes to hospital has a team of people embroiled in
furnishing care passim their healthful process: form doctors, nurses, culinary teams, family and
others. Proper communication is important in this sector to identify and getting information
about the disease of the patient so that they can providing treatment according to that. There are
two types of communication verbal and non verbal. These both are used by the doctors and

Through my investigation, I have examine various things which helps in developing
positive and high quality services and satisfy patients. I have contributed a lot in order to

communication skills, doctors and nurses will provide high quality services to their patience.
