Claire, one of my respected colleagues, agreed to my discussion about the challenges and
skills required for becoming nursing professionals in future. She was of the view that if we are
not rained technically, our segment might fall short of perfection in future as well. The only thing
that we need to improve at the moment relates us with the technology. According to her example,
the robotic surgery has brought precision in the operative methods of clinical care, however, the
knowledge of handling and maintaining the apparatus involved in the process of operation are
still not well known to the nursing professionals. Thus, they need assistance in case of
emergency—a time when there is no doctor available unfortunately and a nurse has to handle the
case for a while—the setting of the apparatus and keeping the situation under control might
hamper the progress of quality in a particular setting.
Claire also advocated for the need of full time partnership offered to nursing
professionals in future in healthcare organizations. It will be very useful to see nurse
demonstrating their leadership skills at the top level management especially in the context of
community hospitals. The administrative responsibility and management of the organization with

emergency of situation and they might provide enough opportunities to improve the professional
quality of healthcare delivery through implementing the rotation policies of working effectively

effective participation, in any form and condition of treatment, will be determined with the help
of their updated knowledge of nursing norms. He explained the concept with an example that if a
nurse is aware of the newly found drug which can be given in the emergency cases of diabetes
type 2, she might just consult the medical expert and provide the drug to the patient. In the
current setting, in this scenario, the doctor will be called first and after diagnosis based
examination of the patient, only the doctor will allow the patient to have certain kind of drug.
Ruby actually has provided an interesting feedback about merging the duties assigned to
medical experts and nurses in future; the gaps between them must be bridged with the help of
updating the curriculum and knowledge of the nursing professionals. His conceptual framework
will be helpful in dealing with the challenging situations in the medical homes situated in the
remote areas where the facilities of the doctors are still not up to mark. At least with the help of
