INTRODUCTION
Following report depicts the marketing trends in the areas where KMG Kashagan B.V. is
operating where it includes the significance of tight and loose labour market conditions along
with the way in which company has positioned themselves in competitive labour market of
operating countries. It also depicts role of government, employers and trade unions in ensuring
the meeting of needs of future skills. This report also provide information about the effective
work planof an organisation to achieve the goals and compete in the labour market.

Kazakhstan labour market
A. Tight and losses labour market
KMG is the Kashagan BV provides oil gas exploration and production services. It is
particularly based on Kazakhstan (Eichhorst and et.al., 2015). Labour is the necessary source or
impactful factor for the organization business revenue. In terms of labour market in Kazakhstan.
In terms of slowdown economy, it impacts on the drop down in oils as well as raw material.
Besides, in crisis period, employee rates have also been reducing in the economy. From 2014,
800 employees decreased on as per average rate. Moreover, employment rate has been grown
from 2010 to 2013 by 170 thousand per year. In Kazakhstan, main recent trend in the labour
market was that all employees were shifted from manufacturing to services sector. Through
which share of services to date has risen to almost two third. Under the current strategy of
labour market Kazakhstan having 35th place in the global competitiveness index stand high in the
world. In 2017, Kazakhstan has exceeded 18 million mark (Okamoto, 2017). This reflects a
continuing trend of population high population growth gives positive impact on the labour
growth. High number of person unemployed that is not the problem for economy but number of
high employed person engaged with low productive segments such as self-employed, public
sector. In 2017 of first quarter, number of employees continued decline and go on the negative
direction and slumped by 30,000 people. The issue which is facing by the employees in
Kazakhstan is which is based on official statistics which is increasing by 4%. When process of
oil has closed to $100 that is beneficial for the economy. It gives higher level of enhancing level
and growing factor. Private sector is more beneficial than public.

UK Labour Market trend
In terms of United Kingdom, UK market is facing ups and downs due to change in the
government. According to survey and data in 2012, it is remarkable which enhances 75%
employment rate (Liu and et.al., 2017). It gives a positive impact on the future of employees. In
the UK market, employees are increasing who are not born in the UK since 2008. Due to
inflation crises most of the company get low the wages or salary of people due to which
em,ployees left the job. Employment level in UK has been grown after 2012 which is better than
before. In terms of matching the data, women have taken more advantages rather than men. In
UK market, private sector has been increasing more as compare to the public sector. Private
sector provides high employment wages and salary as compared to public sector. In terms of UK
labour market, conditions during recession firms cut employee’s wages rates due to which many
people left job. It gives a negative impact on the behaviour of employees.

In a labour market, it is very important to update the skills of workers timely as when
new trend in market comes, advanced skills are required to fulfil the demand (UK labour market,
2017). Also, quality of delivering the services or products improve when skilled labour performs
the tasks which in turn benefits any organisation. Therefore, economic status of that country is
also benefited. As there is a tough competition in market, every competitor wants to deliver high
quality product within less time which is only possible through skilled labours (Marchington,
Wilkinson and Donnelly,2016). So, the government of country, employers and trade unions
together ensure that future skills needs are met or not.
Government plays an important role to enhance skills of labour for increasing in the
productivity of country itself leading them to generate efficient gross domestic product rate.
Development of skills leads to the growth of economy of a country as well as improves the
delivery of services and technology (UK labour market, 2017). It helps to build confidence and

dignity in labour class of market. Every nation assists training authorities that provide sessions to
employees and also make sure that they are trained in their workplace as well (Atkinson and
Storey, 2016). Local government conducts surveys and research to analyse the trained employees
also issues related to skill development program and provides solution and measures to control
and improve them This analysed data of well skilled labour by government facilitate the process
of improvement in service delivery process which lead to quality production of good in the
country itself. Also, it conducts various awareness programmes related to importance of skill
development of labours and why they should have advanced skills, resulting in llabour class to
take interest and join these training programmes as well.
Employer when hires labours for work, he knows that what exact skills are required to
complete the task. It judges every candidate and put them at right position for the task. But skills
of workforce should not be limited as it affects the productivity of output. Employer keep a
check on which skills are required by labours to improve the quality and production of goods

as with the emergence of new trends in market, competition is getting more intense as compared
to earlier. To improve or develop certain skills, employer implements certain processes to
improve the quality of delivery. Induction process is one of them. In this, labours are given with

discussion which can be one to one. Mentoring system are allotted in an organisation in which
labours are provided guidance. It helps employees for better understanding of the work and

within a specific time period to improve the process of their work and making it time effective.
Assessment of staff is done and appraisals are given on the performance of individuals. As
creating mistake is the human nature, employer makes them learn to deal with it and about the

training for quality output with an immense productivity level .

management and stakeholders to develop the manpower plan. Another principle of effective
workforce is to determine critical skills and competencies which require accomplishing the

employees. On the other hand, another effective principle is to make a healthy relationship in
between company and employee. It is the core function of human resource management which
identifies employee’s needs and wants to establish effective relationship in working
environment. Workforce planning needs to prepare on the basis of proper manner which full fill
the needs of employee satisfaction. . Along with that, it also needs to adopt the most effective
learning outcomes. Moreover, another major objective organisation is to ensure proper
implementation process of workforce planning. Moreover, this process helps to ensure a proper
environment working in company. Productive workforce planning gives a great impact on
employee’s behaviour which is helpful to accomplishing the company’s target plans.
