Personal Analysis
Some of my strengths include problem-solving and decision-making skills, which I have
gained through various studies such as “introduction to business studies.” I have equally
developed this strength through multiple discussions in class and the personal relationships with
friends in class. The second strength is the communication skills that I uniformly learned from
the introduction to business studies class where the need for effective communication skills was
taught. Lastly, I have learned and developed the group work skills, which I was able to learn
through various group discussions we had.
However, some areas need improvement such as when it comes to dealing with conflict
in the group. I need to learn and develop the most effective ways of addressing some of the
conflicts that arise in the group since it is nearly impossible to avoid conflict in various groups.
Secondly, I equally need to work on my time management, as I was occasionally late for
my group meetings. I have to find ways of coming up with a plan on how to manage my time
well to avoid similar situations in the next level of my education.
Opportunities include being able to become the best time manager when I learned various
techniques for scheduling my tasks. Through proper scheduling, I will be able to come up with
the most convenient ways of handling every job at the most desired time.
There is the threat of not being able to acquire and maintain friends due to lack of
networking skills. I am more introvert and not mingle with others quite easily which makes it
difficult to make friends.

Setting Goals
I have been able to go through various studies such as Introduction to Business Studies-
17S1AGB, Employability and Enterprise-17SBAGB, and preparing for success at University.
These studies have been precious to me more particularly when it comes to setting my future
goals. Besides, my course is Business management. In the future, I would be interested in being
self-employed by owning a business in the fashion industry. I am confident of being able to
achieve this dream because the courses that I have had have been highly relevant and has enabled
me to learn many things concerning running a business (Wheelen, Hunger, Hoffman, & Bamford
2017). Additionally, I finished technical university-Fashion design when I was in my country,
and I had a small fashion company for clothes, and it was called Seven Fashion. This confirms
that I am experienced in running a personal business, and I will be able to achieve the same goal
more so when I get even more equipped in my subsequent educational level.
Personal Objectives
The short-term goal is to be successful in all my coursework by scoring high grades in all
my units. This objective needs to be accomplished in every course that I take including this one
and therefore it starts now.
Medium term goals include working on being the owner of a small manufacturing firm in
the fashion industry. I was able to do that when in my county and I am confident I can be ready
to start another company. That will provide me with the best ground to become the most
successful entrepreneur in the future. I expect to do this in the next 1 to 2 years from now.
My primary objective is to become one of the world's renowned entrepreneurs like
Alibaba. I do not look forward to employment as much but to be an employer who will help

solve the crisis of unemployment in the country. This is my long-term objective which I intend to
achieve when I complete my education.
