Part A
Reflection represents a systematic presentation of experience so as to gain some
learning and act as a learning offered to others through sharing the experience and
providing a meaning through that experience. The model that will be used to present
reflective practice from this asset includes Driscoll model of reflection. According to
this reflection there are three major stages that are applicable to reflection
presentation or process. As presented below the three stages or what, so what and
now what. Further bifurcation of these three stages includes five steps of cycle that is
experiencing, sharing, processing, generalising and applying (Fook, 2018).

Considering the first state that is what?, I would like to share my Job experience.
From my previous experience I was not sure if I will be able to exist in the
organisation as my communication skills are effective enough when it comes to an
individual interaction, however I like to communicate effectively in a group. This was
the major challenge while working in a team at academic experience as well less in
job experience. Therefore I can reflect that I was good with the interview or one-on-
one conversation with superiors and subordinate but when it comes to team work
and there is the need to communicate and lead a team I hesitate to communicate
with people. The experience at previous organisation included major learning as
there were various training and sessions conducted in order to cope up with
communicating skills. For example brainstorming sessions, group sessions, group

discussions were experienced which found to be helpful for me to come up with
communication effectiveness in a group (Bonaccio & O'Reilly, 2016). Prior to the
experience I was not feeling confident enough to work with the team, but after
training sessions I felt more confident, less anxiety during communicating with the
group.
Considering second stage of the model, that is so what?, it can be interpreted from
the experience that how important communication is when it comes to job or
academic experience. Effective communication is relatively important for managers
in the workplace so as to get functions of management perform that is planning,
leading and control over teams. It was understood that effective communication
would be helpful in managing performing in jobs and acknowledging the
responsibilities in team. Communication in the workplace is helpful in promoting
motivation for the managers and leaders. Motivation is also promoted by a team
member as one team motivated team member may affect the whole team work. This
include communicating in the way of task needs to be performed, the ways to
improve the performance of the employs I am communicating vision to the team
members. Communication importance is also identified in decision making process
in organisation. As it is important to communicate source of information to members
of the organisation and identify and assess the course of actions that are to be taken
in decision making process (Hall et al., 2019).
Considering the third state that is now what? That reflects application of learnt
aspects from experience in near future. From experience of group sessions,
communication training sessions and brainstorming session, I would like to say that I
will be implementing effective communication, better body language and cope up
with anxiety in public speaking in near future. Some of the characteristics that I will
be adopting for affective communication in near future is clarity of purpose, which
reflect that I must be clear in mind that what is the purpose of my communication or
the message that I am going to deliver. Receiving the feedback which includes
understanding if the message sent or communicated by me is received with the
same understanding and meaning by the other person. Modification of the message
as per the audience, it is understood and learnt that the information that is provided
to a group of people could be different bases on their needs and requirements.
Therefore it is important to understand the audience needs prior to send message

Part B
From the experience of working at organisation I am communicating in professional
context as reflected previously from pate it can be said that it has influence at higher
base with my individual performance behaving pattern and experience. The most
important change with my behavioural pattern is in my body language. In case of
ineffectiveness with communication skills and communicating with a group of people
that exactly reflect through the body language and actions taken by an individual.
Through this experience it can be said that I have been able to gain confidence while
communicating in a group and have been able to reflect better body language while
communicating. For instance I contact is one of the major element in communication
which needs to be maintained. Besides I have practised that and implement it in my
behaviour so as to indicate more confidence.
Considering my individual performance effective communication learning from
previous experience have assisted me in controlling process and improve the
performance of self and team as well. In order to control the process it is needed to
communicate organisational policies, job role performance, which needs to be
performed by an individual and communication related to grievance to the superiors
and work problems. This reflects importance of communication and controlling
process which has eventually improvised my performance. Other than this I would
like to reflect that I have gained a good experience with lots of learning and practice
that will be helpful in my near future in my academic as well as professional act.
Thus, experience has improvised my socialising skills as well. Communication
reflects importance in socialising which has impacted my other experiences as well
that is in Academy Experience and future job experience as well. Thus, it can be said
that the previous experience of communicating in professional environment has
positively influence my behaviour, performance ability, and will help in future
