This portfolio documents a student's learning and development in the FY026 Preparing for Success: Knowledge and Creativity module. It includes ten artifacts demonstrating the student's understanding and application of key concepts, such as new features of MS Word, personal SWOT analysis, personal development plan, paraphrasing logs, resource evaluation for job hunting (LinkedIn), preferred Bucks Graduate Attributes, evaluation of academic resources, job description examples, a blog post on preparing for the future job market, and a reflective summary. The reflective summary explains how these materials have supported the development of the student's employability skills. APPENDIX 1: New Features of MS WORD (RM Unify version)
Dictate Function The MS word is a major document preparation tool which is developed by Microsoft to ease, word related software
and approach. In personal and professional life, Microsoft word plays a crucial role by helping an individual with data
processing and synchronisation for development of meaningful information. I know three major features of Microsoft
word are mentioned below:
-Dictate
-Immersive Reader
-Editor
In the dictator function of MS word, a user can convert speech into text for development of meaningful information.
In this feature a user can also dictate requirements of the project including paragraph and text to develop a desired
piece of information.
I have not used the dictate function of MS word till now as I prefer to write on my own. This is a major quality of
myself which helps me in analysing different assignments and projects.
Immersive Reader This is a major tool used in Microsoft office which helps a user to read whole document in more precise manner.
Reading efforts are minimised with the support of immersive reader in Microsoft which is used all over the world.
Whenever I need to read whole document, I take the support of immersive reader.
Editor This is one of the major function or ability of Microsoft Office which helps in editing a document in a more systematic
manner. The editor function enables an individual to focus on editing a document according to needs of the project. I
also suggest my colleagues and friends to develop effective editing skills for self growth and document development
in a set period of time.

background.
This blog helped me in development of precise understanding related
to job development. This leads to development of a well defined
strategy in order to develop more career opportunities. Application of
this blog is also useful in setting different standards for individual
growth in professional life. This blog is related to development of
precise information related The blog gives the example of TED
Resident Jason Shen, who studied biology, but later in his career
became a product manager at a tech company. All major aspects of

The LinkedIn platform is used by many individuals all over the world to provide job opportunities to youth
and different qualified people. It is used by many people all over the world to develop career path. All
major candidates in personal and professional life include the application and use of LinkedIn to
formulate major practices related to a job.
I will also develop my LinkedIn profile with the help of my seniors and professors. I will write my whole
working experience along with my educational qualification. The LinkedIn profile will be also effective for
me to develop different career related opportunities which are beneficial in professional life. I will also
develop my profile in order to grab a job opportunity in a quick manner.
