This assignment is a group project creating an educational leaflet on mental health. The leaflet explores mental health issues in contemporary society, focusing on the application of psychological and sociological theories. It examines the influence of gender, relationships, and societal factors on mental well-being, referencing key research. The leaflet discusses the role of attachment theory and labeling theory in understanding mental disorders, presents statistical data on mental health prevalence, and highlights the importance of physical health and the role of mass media. The project aims to increase awareness and understanding of mental health challenges and the factors that contribute to them. It is designed to meet the requirements of the FYA002-0 module, demonstrating an understanding of the interplay between psychology, sociology, and individual well-being within the context of the UK.
