INTRODUCTION
International human resource management is obsessed with the human resource problems
of multinational firms in international subsidiaries. In order to contribution of HRM in the global
success of its firm that it mainly generate the competencies to understand or implement on all
HR practices or functions like development of management, training, staffing, directing in an
effective manner1. In regards with MNE's business strategy characterised globalization with the
main use of international assignees and develop own competencies in order to support them. In
this report Galaxy resources has been taken as an organization which is Australian public mining
company. Along with this assignment emphasis on viability of entering in emerging economy in
the chile host country. Apart from this company's background information, emerging country's
background information and significant or challenges, entry mode and strategic IHRM plan will
get covered in this assignment.
1) Galaxy Resource company background information.
Galaxy resources limited is the lithium company that exploration of minerals in the
Australia or Argentina. This company holds the interest in the Sal De Vida in Argentina. This
company headquartered in Apple cross, Western Australia and founded in the year of 1996.
along with this, company deals with spodumene, lithium carbonate and hydroxide product in a
perfect manner2.
2) The rationale of Chile Host that is emerging economy country.
Chile host is a South American country which is occupying with larger economy of the
world. This is a large country due to several policies like monetary policy, fiscal policy, trade
agreement etc. In term of emerging economy country it justify the economies which are
developing rapidly and the working condition make economy progress more sustainable in a
good way. For the expansion of business in the Chile Host is a good decision because there are

This is a emerging economy because Chile host country has few characteristics for
developed market. According to the emerging economy country have sufficient fund in order to
reach attaining goals and objectives in a effective manner3.

There are two types of entry mode such as equity or non equity wherein, equity entry
modes includes in the wholly owned subsidiaries and joint venture includes in export and
contractual agreements. Both are helpful for Galaxy resources company in order to enter in the
Chile host organization to expansion of business in an effective manner.

Chile Host prepares IHRM plan in order to enhance the quality of leadership or
management globally so that it is the huge challenge which identify the company's strategies.
Company's HR always controlled or manage the improvements in business requirement
for good talent or skills effectively5.
These strategies define the looking forward workforce strategy in an effective manner.
Therefore, these strategies are very much useful for making or designing the better strategies
plan in a good way. For face lot of challenges at different stage. In regards with Chile host, it
makes better strategies plan for long stability in another country efficiently.
RCOMMENDATIONS
From the above knowledge it has been recommended that HR manager of Galaxy
resources should opt different types of decision or effective strategies in order to make clear
vision in front of the customer or company's employees.

There are several strategies which all are determine the actual performance employees
and managers from different countries, which are given below:

Whereas, host country manager that is Chile country their manager also understand the
requirement of their people of employees and then fulfil them in a effective way. So this can be
said that both countries are different but focuses on their culture or people need in a good way.
Therefore these strategies or performance management shown the difference between
local or host country. This is essential to know other company's culture and their growth for the
future development so that company can easily expand their business in a effective way which is
good for both countries in a particular manner8.
