INTRODUCTION
Gallup Strengths is the theory which is implemented in life of individual for enhancing
awarenesses and developing employability skills for the current job related to business
management (Louis,2011). Below mention assignment covers key aspect of Gallup strength
theory for knowing myself as well for achieving career aspiration. Along with this theories
related to the business management is given. In the elements of these theories are applied for
future development of career.
Journal entry 1: Know yourself
Gallup theory includes thirty-four workplace strength and they are required in
individual for better career. I need to enhance my skills related to business management as per
my current job. Their are many key aspects of the Gallup Strengths theory which have to be
implemented by me in my daily practices so that I can manage my business in better manner.
Description of these key aspects is mention below :-
Communication – It is because for managing anything there is requirement of proper
communication with its pathway. Their must be two way communication in business in
which one is sender and another is receiver so that important information and data can be
transfer to each and every employees. Thus, in proper business management it is the term
which play their important role.
Command – For proper management in the association there is requirement of command
which is given by the manager to rest of the staff so that things can be done in well
manner. It can be related to any type of activity which I want to be done with workers.
Responsibility – In organisation me as a employee for have responsibility of business
management so related to this there are several activities which is performed in the
company and it is my duty to take care of all these that they are conducting in correct
manner.
Discipline – For managing things in proper manner there is requirement of discipline in
the company so that things can be manage in accurate manner for better outcomes.
Thus, by implementing these four points in my life I can have better career in the area of
business management. Moreover, through all these my major three strengths are enhanced which
assist me in achieving my career aspiration. Description of these are as follows :-

is my strength which is developed and I can manage overall activity of the business in
better manner. Responsibility and command both are the terms of respective theory
which play important role in enhancing leadership skills.

and plan production (Wisner,2011). These principles are : Division of work, Authority ,
Discipline, Unity of command, unity of direction, Subordination of individual interests to the
general interest, Remuneration, Centralisation, Scalar chain, order, equity, stability of tenure of
personnel, initiative and esprit de corps.
Thus, through implementing this theory of business management I can manage
organisation in better manner and it also enhance my employability and self awareness skills.
