BMP3003 Further Academic Skills
According to Awasthi (2019), the foremost thing which
student has to kept in mind while studying in university is that they need
to work in ethical and fair way. Also, they need to follow integrity that
are university academic rules and regulations. This shows honest and fair
behaviour and work of student towards university. Alongside, integrity
led to creating a good image of student in university. This results in their
career growth and development. Apart from it, student becomes
disciplined and it reflect their integrity. Hence, they are able to get job in
future easily. Furthermore, employer recruit those students who are
disciplined and ethical in their working. Along with it, following of
academic integrity realize that actions performed are right ones. This
increases their reputation in society as well. Apart from it, academic
integrity help in scoring and getting high marks in exams. This help in
their daily life as student do all things in ethical way and show discipline.
Student gain knowledge and apply in their personal life as well. Besides,
as said by Hopp and Hoover (2017), student must be aware about what
is academic misconduct and plagiarism. He or she need to possess
knowledge about it. This will be useful for them to avoid plagiarism or
any type of academic misconduct. In addition, by having proper
knowledge student do all tasks in ethical way. They do not copy work of
others.
It is critiqued that Montoneri (2019), academic
misconduct results in serious consequences on student. This is because it
can led to suspension, termination, etc. of student. Alongside, there are
huge penalty imposed on them. It leads to waste of time as well as
money for student. Hence, their career is also impacted in negative way.
Plagiarism is also academic misconduct. This is because student copy
and paste work of others. So, it is clearly unethical practices being
followed by them. There are no references being done and all work
seems to be copied from internet. It can also result in hampering student
reputation. The academic integrity ensure that university is working
ethical and fair way. Also, integrity sets framework and standards for
student to do their work in fair manner.

Game instructions
There will be 5 teams in it which have 3 players.
The team has to pick up a card from a deck of 52 cards.
If any face card comes up then team is required to answer
question of that particular face card.
There will be 4 categories of questions and it contains list of
different questions in it.
If any other card comes other than face card then team will not
be able to get chance to answer question.
For example- if face card comes of Ace then questions of
category Ace will be asked to student. But of any other number
card comes then chance is wasted.
Here, questions asked will be based on plagiarism and academic
misconduct.
The questions will be MCQ based and time given to answer it
will be 15 seconds.
The Ace card questions are of 20 points, King card is of 15
points, Queen card is of 10 points and Jack card is of 5 points.
The highest difficult question will be Ace card, then king, queen
and so on.
The team who got scored 100 points first is winner.
No negative marking is there for wrong answer.
Any member of team can give answer to question.
No cheating is allowed in this and if team is found to done
cheating then they will be disqualified from game.
