INTRODUCTION
Academic misconduct create serious problems to the person who is in fault. The
misconduct can be considered as a serious crime (Awasthi, 2019). The misconduct can be serious
as it explains the dishonesty of a person when he is making any formal presentation. The
academic integrity is required to be maintained as it provides discipline in the formal work of a
person.
The poster presentation will explain about the importance of the academic integrity and
the seriousness of the academic misconduct with the help of a game that can help the students in
avoiding academic misconduct.

Design of game for developing strategies to avoid the academic misconduct and plagiarism
Academic misconduct
Academic misconduct is one of the serious acts that can creates the barriers in the form of
cheating that can be seen in the relation to any formal exercise (Parnther, 2020). The misconduct
is considered as a serious offence as it provides the details about the dishonesty of any person in
relations to the formal presentation in which they are trying to take advantage by unfair academic
activities.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism is considered as the default that a person has done by using the idea or work
of another person and presenting as the work that has been done by himself. The plagiarism is
considered as an offence as the information that is provided by other person is used without their
consent (Ison, 2019).
This offence is required to be reduced as it can cause the problems to the person who
contributed his time and efforts in creating the idea or work. This can be reduced by the
universities as they can impose the various types of obligations on the students who are working
on the academic activities (Kleusch, 2018). The unfair practices of using the work of some other
person and using it without their consent can reduce the academic integrity in the universities.

termination to the students who have been caught using other's work (Farahian, Avarzamani, and
Rezaee, 2021).
Game design:
The game will be about presenting the same topic in different ways. The game will be
called Many ways of the same concept. In this game the students will be provided with the
following instructions.
According to the game there will be five teams of 4 people. Team A,B,C,D and E
There will be total 20 players that will play the game
There will be 5 topics of different academic work including- Hospitality, Human
Resources Management, Nursing, Other Management and Marketing.
Each team will be provided with the chance to pick a paper in which the topics will be
written.
Each member of the team will be required to speak on the topic for 1 minute.
The speech that has been given by the next team member should not match with the
speech that has been given by the first member.
The team members are required to create speech with their own creativity and can not
help their team members with anything.
The teams will be given marks according to the uniqueness on the presentation of each
team member.
