INTRODUCTION
With regard to the student life it is important that compliance will be made with respect
to the academics and concerned rules and regulation of the University. Following of the rules and
regulations are not only useful from the perspective of University but it also assists the students
to learn and explore adequate knowledge. Academic misconduct and performance of fraud with
regard to the academics and studies will lead to have an adverse impact towards the student
learning and knowledge. In the same way plagiarism and duplicating the work of other writer
and taking the use of other means will lead to create a barrier with regard to the student learning
and its studies.
This report will discuss the concept of academic integrity along with its importance.
Likewise, by considering this concept a game is being developed and the aspect with regard to
game development along with its instructions and other details will also be a part of this report.
TASK-1
Game design
Spin the bottle and cards.
Game setting:
There will a game of bottle and cards. This game will be played between 4 teams,
Mercury, Earth, Mars and Jupiter. As per this game there will be 4 different colour cards namely
Red, Blue, Green and Yellow. Each card will carry certain question based on academic
misconduct and plagiarism. The game will begin with spinning of bottle. Time of 10 seconds
will be allotted to each question. In one round 2 question will be asked from the individual who
won the spin. Every right answer will carry +25 points however a wrong answer will give -5
point. No shifting of question and chance will be allow.
How to play?
In order to play the game following steps will be used:
Firstly, bottle will be spin between the team.
Wherever the bottle will stop its spin, that team will win the chance.
After that winning team will got the chance to choose their favourite colour out of
decided one.

After choosing of colour a rapid fire round will be played under which they will need to
answer the questions of their card.
Time of 10 seconds will be allowed to answer the question.
Right answer will allow +25 points while a wrong answer will give -5 points.
Question will be of multiple choice.
The whole game will be of 200 points.
TASK-2
Instruction of game
There will be four teams named as Mercury, Earth, Mars and Jupiter.
There will a bottle and 4 different colour cards namely Green, Red, Blue, and Yellow.
No shuffling of chance will be allow.
Each card will carry 2 questions.
Right answer gives +25 point, wrong answer will give -5 points.
The game will be of total 200 points.
Time of 10 seconds will be allowed for each question.
No repetition of colour card will be allow.
Questions will be MCQ based.
Importance of academic integrity within University
Academic integrity is the base with respect to every University. It is the base of learning,
teaching and research within the Universities. It allows the students and the teachers to build new
ideas and knowledge. Academic integrity is a wider term in which those values and norms will
be implemented within University that make the students to be honest towards their work. As
trust, honesty, fairness, respect and responsibility are the major principles that are associated
with the academic integrity so it will make the learning fair and informative (Brown and
Ballinger, 2017). This can also be understood that if the learner is having a possession of these
qualities while performing its studies in the respected University then they can learn better and
explore the real world of academics. It will allow then to explore their course. Likewise, non-
performance of plagiarism and duplication of work also assist them to have better learning and
raising of own knowledge.

It can also be understood from the three different perspectives:
From the view of a student if it involve in academic misconduct and not comply with the
academic integrity then it will affect more itself rather than others. This will act as blockage and
barrier in the path of its academic learning. It will take away from the opportunity to learn.
Performance of such misconduct will debarred from learning new skills. As by indulging
in such misconduct it will definitely obtain the concerned degree but it will not enable it to raise
its level of knowledge . Likewise, in case of being caught while performing misconduct then its
whole career and academic life will be spoiled and affected.
From the perspective of University, its image in the academic sector would be affected.
This means that if the students of any University are engaged in any kind of such misconduct
then the reputation of that University will also be affected (Guerrero-Dib and et,al., 2020). This
will also lead to the decline in the number of talented students along with affecting over its
academic reputation.
Likewise, it again affects the future talent and future generation. This means with the
conduction of academic misconduct and non-compliance of academic integrity, it will affect the
future talent and employers. It debarred them from learning new skills and relevant knowledge.
This can also be understood those students and professional who want to and dream of making a
career in a specific professionalism then occurrence of such misconduct will impact over their
professional career.
Thus, it would be right to said that the academic integrity and its compliance is very
important with regard to students, University and from professional career field too.
Skills used to produce the game
As the creation of game is of the creative task, so while developing game many skills are
developed. These skills includes:
Creativity:
With the development of game, creativity skill got developed. As a game is all about
creativity so with the development of game, creativity skill of an individual will develop. It will
lead to widening the thinking of mind (Glăveanu, 2018).
Critical thinking:

This skill also got developed with the development of game. This is because while the
game development various aspect with regard to game are being focussed (Del-Moral and
RodrÍguez-GonzÁlez, 2020). Its positive as well as negative aspects are also being considered
which will lead to the development of critical thinking.
Problem solving:
As the whole game was designed with the purpose of solving the problem of academic
misconduct. So with the development of this game, problem solving skill with regard to the
aspect of academic misconduct will be solved (Ruggiero and Green, 2017).
Research and development:
No game can be developed without the existence of this skill. Thus, this skill also
develops while developing a game. As a thorough research and development of game
accordingly will lead to enable the development of this skill.
Designing:
This skill also developed while making the game. As no one would like to play a game if
it will not be attractive and interesting. Thus, the designing and thinking differently got
developed with the making of this game.
Thus, with the development of game these skills along with perfection got developed among the
individual. Likewise, this has made the development of my mind too.
