BMP3003 Further Academic Skills: Game Design on Integrity

This project utilizes game design to illustrate the importance of academic integrity at the university level. It includes an explanation of academic integrity, the skills used in game production (creativity, technology, and communication), and instructions for playing the game, which is designed as a quick checker with four teams answering questions related to academic misconduct. The game aims to educate students about the adverse impacts of cheating and highlights the significance of honesty in assessments, the reputation of the university, and the proper crediting of sources. The project references several works related to academic cheating, game design, and interactive learning approaches.

The academic misconduct is a type of cheating which occur in relation of
academic integrity. It is very unfair to practice these types of cheating as it
impact the students career adversely. So it is very important that student must
aware about the importance of academic integrity which are give below:
• It is very important to give students the chance of success in their life by
doing their assessment task and project with a honest attitude. For them it is
very essential to avoid the bad consequences such as failing in an assessment
and being asked for leaving the university. They are investing their effort and
time for a degree by study that will be a stepping stone to get success in their
chosen career.
• The working method of staff and students in a university affect that how
others view the university. For this, it is essential that the university should
consistent and trustworthy in their standard for an assessment or course so
that a community have confidence in the those peoples who graduate with
degree.
• It is very important to identifies student's sources accurately in the academic
assessment as it let the student to make their work see where influences for
their ideas have come from. It also shows a right path for how new skills and
knowledge is build. The academic integrity gives a proper credit to the
students whose knowledge and information's are used
There will be four teams of 20 members, each team have to give the name
of their team members.
In this game, there will be three round and each team will get five minutes
to answer the question in each round.
In each team, there will be a leader who will come forward and pick a
card in which a question will be mentioned.
In this quiz, each question will consist the yes or no format so read the
carefully and press on the button according to the answer.
Each right and wrong answer will result in an appropriate feedback
instantly at the screen's bottom.
After answering to a question go to the ''next question'' by clicking the
next question button at bottom.
After answering to the 6th question click on the close button in window to
exit this quiz.
Total score of the questions will be based on team member's responses and
the result will be declared.
