BMP3003 Further Academic Skills
Academic misconduct is any type of cheating that occurs in
relation to the formal academic integrity. As in today's world it is
seen that there is use of unfair means and practices which is
affecting the whole education system. The examples of academic
misconduct are cheating, plagiarism, falsification etc. which leads
to students being dishonest with their work. This is why academic
integrity is very important in today's scenario which need to be
taken on a serious note for the universities. The importance of
academic integrity is discussed below:
There will be 20 cards and the students will have to make a
team of four people in each team
Each team will get a chance that one player can choose a card
at a time
The card will contains the importance of academic integrity
and how the students need to perform in their projects to
reduce plagiarism
The selected card by each team will have to discuss on the
topic and address their understanding to the audience.
This will be repeated by all the teams and will share their
ideas.
From this the students will be able to gain knowledge of
academic integrity and the methods so that they are able to
write their won content.
This will improve the skills of the students and will able to
perform better in their academic projects which is assigned to
them.
