AI Summary
This project centers on the design of a game aimed at educating university students about academic integrity and strategies to avoid plagiarism and academic misconduct. The introduction highlights the benefits of game-based learning in developing effective strategies and fostering student engagement. The main body outlines the design of a game with multiple stages, each designed to assess students' understanding and promote responsible academic behavior. The game incorporates various strategies to combat plagiarism, including detailed note-taking, proper referencing, thorough paraphrasing, accurate quoting, proofreading, and similarity checks. The project also includes instructions for playing the game, emphasizing research, content determination, product development, implementation, and evaluation. The importance of academic integrity within a university setting is explained, emphasizing honesty, responsibility, fairness, respect, and trust. The reflection section discusses the game's role in assessing student performance and preventing misconduct. The project concludes by summarizing the benefits of game design in education and reiterating the strategies for promoting academic integrity. The project uses several references to support its claims and provides a solid framework for developing a game to teach students about academic integrity.

INTRODUCTION
A game is organized for the student to enhance their knowledge and can do the work with
full enthusiasm and this will help in developing the strategies in the mind of students properly
and can complete the task (Denner, J. and et. al., 2019). The topic cover under this report is the
strategies design for the students to avoid the plagiarism and misconduct and the instructions of
playing the game.
MAIN BODY
TASK-1
Design a game for students that develops strategies for avoiding plagiarism and academic
misconduct
Academic Misconduct refers to the action done through unfair advantage by an individual for
the other members of the community (Moore, M., 2016). It includes some material like the use of
unauthorized devices in an organization intentionally or unintentionally creates a misconduct.
The academic misconducts includes the:
Plagiarism- It means the using the ideas of other person without their acknowledgement
creates the duplication of work.
Self-plagiarism – It means using the data and the ideas of the registeted students and
then submitting it as a formal assessment creates a duplication of work (Sellers, M.,
2017).
Contract cheating- It refers to the submission of the formal assessment by the student
which is done by the third party on an contractual basis.
The game was designed for the students in which there is a detail report of their work on the
basis of that only the task will be completed like there are different stages of the game and each
stage is to be cleared by the student then only the second stage will get unlocked. By this there is
an regular assess on the students and can easily avoid the misconduct (Macklin, C. and Sharp, J.,
2016).
There are various strategies adopted so that the plagiarism and misconduct will be
avoided:
Keep detail notes: The students should have a detail log of the information they have
taken from which includes there citation details also so that all the information stored will
be accurate and can be used later (Khaled, R., 2018).

Include referencing: The referencing feature is to be included which helps in avoiding
the plagiarism. Features like facts and statistics, diagrams and images are to be taken in
consideration.
Paraphrase Thoroughly: If the information is taken from the other sites then the
paragraph should be changed in your words with no grammatical mistakes.
Quote Accurately: The quotation marks, symbols are to be placed in a proper manner
which helps in avoiding the risk (Ye, M. and Hu, G., 2016).
Proofread carefully: Before submitting the assignments students should have a
proofread so that there are no chances of plagiarism will rise and the work can done in
proper manner with their citations properly (Lankoski, P. and Holopainen, J., 2017).
Check for similarity: There are various software’s which helps the student to in
checking the statements and by highlighting them so that the students can rephrase them.
Keep writing secure: The writing is to be secure if the other student is getting the same
work then there are chances that the work will get plagiarized and it creates the academic
misconduct.
TASK- 2
Instructions for Playing the Game
The student first has to research the content on the topic and have a detail notes on them and
should be read properly (Klapztein, S. and Cipolla, C., 2016).
The content is to be determined and various alternatives are to be used by the student to
get complete the task. The game is design and there is an proper evaluation of the work
and the testing is to be done.
There is an development of the product in which there is full information is related to the
work is combined and help in achieving the target in proper manner.
Then the product is implemented and is used in the practice
Then the final stage in which the product is evaluated some test are to be done to know
the accuracy of the product in an proper manner.
An explanation of why academic integrity at University is so important
Academic integrity is important as it helps the students to do the work with honesty and
have good quality of learning of their work. It helps in developing the awareness of
responsibility within the society and the community (Kultima, A. and Sandovar, A., 2016). It

reduces the chances of fraud and the plagiarism. In the university the academic integrity helps in
representing the true accomplishments of the students. As they work and complete their
assignment in a fair and honest way. Academic integrity includes the following terms
responsibility, Fairness, Honesty, respect and the trust which makes the work easy for the
students and will able to do the work on time with no misconduct. It is a best chance for the
students to do the work with full honesty and have the chance to get the success in the future.
REFLECTION
The game is important it helps in knowing the accuracy and the performance of the
student there work in an university so that there is no misconduct and no one can use the data of
another student on that basis only the game is designed and helps in performing better and have
their fair position and we will be rewarded for their work. Academic misconduct is an serious
offence which affects the students work so the proper game is developed through which there is
no misconduct of work and will able to complete the task in an proper manner. This game make
the work easy for the university and able to get the results accurately and in an fair position.
CONCLUSION
Game design is an art of applying the design in an education sites so that the accuracy of
the work there fair results are to be calculated so that there are no chances of fraud and will able
to determine the results. The study helps in understanding the various strategies which are
