Plagiarism and academic misconduct is an offence both ethically and legally. It refers to using
someone eles’s hard work as their own without providing proper credits to the original author or
owner of the work. There are several punishments for plagiarism and it depends up on the
universities to choose the punishment for their guilty students. Academic integrity helps the
students in enhancing the credibility of their work and will also make sure that the students are
gaining knowledge about the research and related topics (Sasupilli, Bokil and Punekar., 2019). It
is a lifetime opportunity for students to learn and using plagiarism will take this opportunity from
them and they may also have to face severe consequences of that. In this report, a game is
provided in order to give knowledge and information about plagiarism and academic
misconduct. Along with this the report will also help in understanding the importance of
academic integrity and a self reflection about the skills that is used in order to produce the game.

Academic misconduct refers to the practice or action of student which is against the rules
and regulations of the institution. Every institution have their own separate code of conducts
which indicates the rules and regulations and norms which the students have to follow in order to
avoid an punishment or penalty (Dillon., 2018). It is important for the students as well as staff of
the university to follow all the rules and regulations also it is important for the universities to
provide proper knowledge to students as well as staff about the norms of the institution.
Academic misconduct includes bribery, cheating, fabrication or impersonation, etc. Plagiarism is
also a form of misconduct which must be avoided by students at any cost.
