2 Concept Paper
2.1 Introduction
This is a very basic GWD based game called Street Fighter. This game is developed
using tools and techniques of the software GWD also known as Google Web Developer.
As given in the description of the game we will be using simple jump and run
functionality in order to make this game user interactive.
2.2 Background
The idea of this game is to present any city streets in the background and our main
character has to dodge the incoming obstacles like street fighters, cars, bats and ball in
order to succeed to further deep into the game and get the highest score in the game.
This game will be integrated with the theme which is underground fighting streets of a
city, there will be building and cars in the background. As the game progress, the city
background will change to create the illusion of day passing by in the game so that the
player can connect with the game a deeper level.
In the above section, we have discussed the use of Google Web developer in order to
develop this game which means using advanced tools and concepts of GWD which will
ultimately make this game even more fun for the players. With the help of this

development software, we will be adding a lot of animation and sound effects to take the
user’s experience to a newer level.
2.3 Description
Not to over complicate this game development, we will be using just the simple function of jump
and run in this game so that this game would be playable for any novice player. To keep on
progressing in the game, the player will only have to use the jump key to keep dodging the
incoming obstacles to proceed in the game and get the highest score possible. As the player
keeps on playing the game, the game’s background will change so that the user’s interest will be
in the game all along. The rate of incoming obstacles will keep on increasing with player’s
progress.
The home of the game will be the first page that the user will see after starting the game. To
keep the theme of the game, the home page will have the streets like background similar to the
gameplay page. The home screen will have a background with abandon buildings, dark ally,
vehicles in the background. There will also be a total of two buttons present on the home screen.
The bottom right button will be for starting the actual gameplay of the game and the top left
button will be for going to help and controls page.
The press of the start button will take the player to gameplay page. The character will remain
stationary and have to dodge incoming objects which are running towards our in-game character.
After the obstacle reaches a certain point towards the character player have to the jump key in
order to jump and dodge the obstacles so that they can survive the game and get the highest
score possible.
The Up-arrow key is assigned to make the character jump up and down in the game, for the
player convenience we will assign more than one key to make the character jump. One key
would be Up arrow key as discussed and another one will be space bar.
2.4 Key Features
Music plays a vital role in any genre of game. We can say that for any kind of
game music is the amplifier which takes the gaming experience to a whole new
level.
Whenever the player touches or presses any button on any respective screen, the
respective button will show some kind of getting pressed animation or moving
animation which will make the game more interactive from the user perspective.
The home page, help page, and the instruction page will have a similar kind of
theme so that the game doesn’t look distorted or disorganized in any way. To
achieve this key feature, we will use a similar theme of the street for all the
pages with the crazy and funky font.
2.5 Genre
This game is based on street fights and brawl, which include dark alley fights, abandon
buildings, etc. The genre of this game is an action strategy. All the respective
characters, obstacles, and background are related to the theme so that users would feel
connected with the game and would enjoy the game even more.
