INTRODUCTION
Plagiarism is the act of using and presenting other's data and ideas. It is seen that the data
can be used with or without the consent of the person. Plagiarism is considered as academic
misconduct (Jamieson and Howard, 2019). It is important to note that academic skills play a vital
role in the life of a student. It helps them to perform effectively at University. This report is
based on formulating a game that helps to develop strategies that will help to avoid plagiarism
and academic misconduct. Afterwards, in the poster there are various instructions related to
playing of game. There is need of academic integrity that is also mentioned. In the end there is
reflection that helps to know about the skills that will help in developing the game.
MAIN BODY
TASK 1
Game design
Plagiarism is considered as academic misconduct. So, it is necessary to formulate such
game that helps the students to avoid misconduct. The game must be designed by University that
is advantageous for the student as well as their career (Jamieson and Howard, 2019). It is
important to teach them about the importance of avoiding plagiarism. Below is discussion related
to the game.
Neglecting plagiarism is the name of game that is designed for the students. It is an
online game that focuses on neglecting plagiarism. In this game the students are being given
cards that help them to know if they have copied any word. They have to write the content by
their own and if it has plagiarism than the card gets highlighted. The students can either change
the sentence by their own or they have to use their points for help. It is seen that they have to
earn cards by participating more and avoiding plagiarism (Es-Sajjade and Paas, 2020). In this
way they are able to avoid plagiarism and that will help them in avoiding academic misconduct.
It is necessary to note that to earn cards it is important to play the game on regular basis and try
to express own ideas and use own words. It helps to earn card that is necessary to know if they
are writing the words and ideas of others.
Working and structure: There is need of proper structure so that the students are able to
play the game in an effective manner. There are 3 cards given to the students for free in the

starting of the game (Dimitriadou and et.al., 2021). Along with that there are weekly quizzes that
help the students to earn points. The focus of the game is to:

It is important to design the game in an effective way. It will help the students to do the
work effectively. Following the principles will help to work effectively and take care of
academic integrity. The use of game in an effective manner help to achieve academic integrity.

CONCLUSION
From the above discussion, it is analysed that there is need to work with academic
integrity. Being fair and honesty is necessary for the students. Plagiarism is an academic
misconduct and cause problems in the life of student. In this report a game is designed that helps
to avoid misconduct and indulge the students to achieve success. The instruction fir the game are
also formulated. It is seen that there are various benefits of following academic integrity and they
are also mentioned in this report. In the end of the report the key skills required to design the
games are mentioned.
