According to Șchiopu-Constantin, (2021)
students of the university have to follow certain rules and
regulation in order to maintain integrity of college. Each
college have their ethics which is followed by staff and students
so that discipline can be maintained. Moreover, following
academic integrity avoids bad results of the students and help
them in increasing their overall knowledge and personality. In
case of students’ academic integrity will be giving chance of
success by being honest with their assignments and attitude
towards others. It also allows to avoid bad results like failing or
restriction from the university. Thus, investing time in study
will help students to achieve success by creating foundation of
professional knowledge and practices.
As per the view of Kumar, Pratap and Pateria, (2022) if
academic integrity is not followed then it will create negative
impact on the career as most of the students will create mischief
in the premises. It can result in terminating the students which
affect their studies and career progression. One of the most
common threat company will be facing is poor brand reputation
of firm will be ruin which will lead in low opportunity to other
students in future.
Eaton and Turner, (2020) has define that definition of academic
integrity involved some of the basic ethics like honesty,
fairness, respect, courage and responsibility in order to deal
with some of the major challenges that arise in daily lifestyle. If
students do not follow rules and regulation it will lead in
penalties and termination or both which can affect their studies
and negative impact on university reputation.
