INTRODUCTION
An education system alongside the academic knowledge, also inculcates the value and a
sense of integrity in the students. The universities and many other educational institutions know
the value of such factors in real life and also know how each and every factor that they believe in
building in their students will benefit the students. An academic integrity is associated with the
expectations from the students, teachers, researchers, and the other members who belong to the
academic community to act with complete honesty, fairness, respect, trust and responsibility
(Orr, 2018). These are the skills taught to the students so that they can create a better place for
themselves in the world and maintain an integrity as that will help the students in near future
success and will build their personality for the coming goods in the life. All these teachings
develop the attitude of the students to avoid the plagiarism and misconduct in all the activities
they are required to perform in the universities. This report provides, a game designed for the
students in order to avoid plagiarism and induce the sense of academic integrity in them.
Furthermore, it also discusses the importance of skills required and academic integrity for
creating the game.
MAIN BODY
TASK1-
GAME DESIGN- Spin and Win
Game setting-
The game is engaged with the use of a spinning wheel, that has 6 colours namely: red,
pink, yellow, blue, purple and green. The wheel also has a pointer on it and is placed on a stand
with a set of cards kept in front of it. This game demands a member of each team to come
forward and rotate the wheel at the time of playing. After rotating, the pointer stops on a colour
and the member who rotated the wheel has to pick the card of the same colour which the pointer
points on the wheel and answer the questions written at the back of the card.
How to play
To play the game it requires 5 teams comprising 5 members each. The game includes a
spinning wheel which has 6 colours and some cards placed on the table of exact same colours
which are there on the wheel. Backside of every card, there are the questions which are to be
addressed by every individual and comes forward and play the game. The member is supposed to
rotate the wheel and then after it stops, the member is asked to pick a card of the same colour on

which the wheel's pointer has stopped and answer the question that is written on the back of that
colour card.
For instance-
A member is coming and spinning the wheel over. After spinning the wheel, it has now
stopped and points towards the colour yellow, now the member of that team has to now pick the
card of yellow colour that is placed on the table below and answer the question of which is
written on the back of the card.
Let suppose, if the same colour is coming again and again, then also the team is required to
answer it and the questions will be transformed.
The questions are straight and are not MCQ based
1 minute will be the time given to each and every member for answering the questions
Each question will be related to the academic integrity, misconduct and plagiarism
No repeated questions will come in the game
Team with the score of first 40, will win the game
The game has no negative markings for the wrong answers
For each right answer, 5 marks will be given to the teams
Each team will have 10 chances to answer right and win the game
TASK2-
Instructions of the game
The game requires 5 teams comprising 5 members each.
It involves a member of each team to step forward and spin the wheel one-by-one at the
time of their chances.
The colours of the card are exactly same to the colours of the wheel i.e. read, pink,
yellow, green, blue and purple.
No repeated questions will come in the game
Team with the score of first 40, will win the game
Time given for answering- 1 minute
The game has no negative markings for the wrong answers
To each right answer, 5 marks will be given to the teams
Each team will have 10 chances to answer right and win the game
Each question will be related to the academic integrity, misconduct and plagiarism

Why academic integrity is necessary in University?
Universities are engaged with providing the students with great knowledge and skills so
that they can perform outstandingly in their future. But academic integrity is something which is
not practised by every individual and therefore it becomes a responsibility of the universities and
other educational institutions to induce the sense of academic integrity in every student who
studies there. Academic integrity is the honesty, respect, fairness and responsibility that is carried
by every individual who comes under academic committee. It becomes an important factor to be
taught in the universities as it is one of the major reason behind the success of the students
journey (Sotiriadou and et.al., 2020). It lets an individual to come up with the creative ideas, new
innovations and freedom that helps an individual to build great knowledge and enhance the
personal skills which will be of a great help in the near future. Academic integrity induced by the
universities also provides an additional value to the degree of the students, other than just the
marks (Suralaga and et.al., 2021). It proves right the saying of, how the marks are not everything
and there is more to life. The academic integrity is also said to boost the personal intellectual
power of each and every student and also enables them to think uniquely and creatively (Yang
and et.al., 2021). All these things which come along the academic integrity prepares a student for
the future comings and the universities also play a big role in this as it gets ready an individual
for the future that values the creativity and unique thinking.
Skills used in designing of game
Designing of a game requires different innovative skills in order to make the game a hit.
The games can be designed for different purposes as, here it is designed by me for the purpose of
avoiding plagiarism and introducing academic integrity amongst the students (Giannakos and
Jaccheri, 2018). The game required number of skills for the completion and here are some of
them which helped me to complete this game successfully.
Creativity skills- Creativity skills are the skills that makes an individual to think uniquely and
out of the zone (Hsu, and Wang, 2018). My personal approaches and creative ideas have helped
me to design this game and put this unique idea of academic integrity into it. This idea makes
learning fun and provides a great interest in the students (Whitton, 2018).

Designing skills- These skills helped me to create the actual presentation of the ideas that I had
on my mind. With the help of number of applications and software I was able to design and run
my game successfully and just in the way I thought with beautiful colours and theme that would
develop interest in the students to play.
Research skills- Research skills are very important skills when it comes to designing a game.
Here these skills of mine provided me with the idea of what kind of actual games are available
and how can I form one. By following each step mentioned on the internet, I was able to make a
game successfully. So yes, my research skills contributed the most in making of this game.
