Comparing of 2 gaming and entertainment venues and features
Gaming and entertainment industry can be defined as a subset of gaming industry such as
casino. It offers games of risk in order to make people entertain. There are several hotels of
Australia who have gaming activities as a leisure activity such as Seaton hotel and Woodville
hotel.
Seaton is a favourite local’s pub in the West. It is a family owned hotel who have
excellent dining facilities, art sport bar garden, an attracting modern gaming room. It have Bistro,
sports bar and wine. On the other hand, Woodville hotel is located on port road, Australia,
Woodville south. It has attractive parts in its hotel such as: yards, champion sports bar, The
bistro, The lounge etc.
In the context of sports bar of Woodville, it is stated that sport bar of this hotel has
around 12 TV screens. This sport bar is totally dedicated and have excellent interior which
attracts wider range of people because it also has self-contained space. In the context of games, it
is stated that people can entertain themselves by playing footy tipping, fox sport, drawing and
TAB facilities. It is also stated that people love to come here as they feel that it is the perfect
place to watch games live and enjoy.
Whereas, as compare to Woodville hotel and its sport bar, it is stated that Seaton sport’s
bar and palm deck is one of the best sport bar considered. It is stated that people who tap and win
games they get around 10 beers in free or as a gift. All people can make themselves entertain by
drawing and live entertainment. As compare to Woodville hotel, it has only 1 large LED screen
which allows people to enjoy live sports. People can also enjoy by its amazing gaming services
like cooling and an open fire place in winter, cosy boots and heating. It has all those gaming
which can be played and enjoyed not only by kids and youngsters but also by family.

Types of entertainment and gambling activities
There are several types of entertainment and gaming activities which many hotels and
gaming industry provide to people in order to make then refreshed and enjoyed. Some common
gaming activities which are being given by both Woodville and Seaton hotels such as: Bingo,
Dice games, card and tale games, lottery etc. In the context of gambling it can be said that it is a
form of entertainment. It is stated that nowadays when people feel stressed and go through their
tough phase than they find different ways of entertaining themselves and being happy. At that
time they begin to rely on the sense of excitement and perceived glam of gambling as the way of
dealing with their stress and being happy.
So, it can be said that aim of both hotels of providing sports bar and gaming facilities to
people is to make them entertain and earning profit as well. It is the best way of attracting people
to the great extent and increasing sales.
In the context of opportunity, it can be said that career opportunities in gaming industry
and gaming hotel operations are somehow similar to career opportunities in full service hotel
industry.
If we compare level of entertainment and gaming facilities of both Woodville and Seaton,
it can be said that Seaton is somehow good in this activity or services. As compare to Woodville,
Seaton provide several attracting activities It is stated that Woodville do ot entertain and make
people feel enjoyed by providing cosy boots, fire camping and others. But there is one main
feature in which Woodville is better than Seaton hotel which is it provides better live games
entertainment facility because it has larger space than Seaton and also have 11 TV screen.
Importance of entertainment environment: Entertainment environment plays an important
role as it makes people feel that they are at place where they can play as like a kid and there is no
one who would judge them. Having a place where all people can play and make themselves
entertain increase loyalty and allow hotels in attracting customers to the great extent. It gives
feeling to people and motivate them to play and be happy. So, it is important for both hotels to
use such things which can make people feel that they are at entertaining place.
