The Gartner Hype cycle also describes how technology will evolve in the
future hence being able to provide valuable insights on how to apply it to
specific goals.
This hype cycle ventures into different technologies which have evolved
over time but in this case, I will focus on how three of such technologies
have evolved in the past four to five years.

To begin with, we have smart machine technologies. This technology is
also known as Artificial Intelligence.
This kind of technology has been regarded to be one of the most disruptive
classes of technology in the next ten years due to its unprecedented
advances and radical computational power (Columbus, 2017).
Over the years it has undergone a lot of advancements and it is perceived
that it will allow organizations with such kind of technology to harness
data to keep up with new situations or solve current problems.
For example, in the past five years, smart technologies have been
employed in Autonomous Vehicles programs hence proving to be
worthwhile in the future.

chart thus raising a lot of confusion.
According to the Morgan Stanley report, the blockchain technology is
presumed to take time in both its development and long-term industry
adoption.
In conclusion, technology is said to grow every day. Therefore, I believe its
growth will never be limited since new information and research is coming
in from different sources.
