Summary of the project:
This was one of the beautiful experiences for exposing myself to real world business
of the world of the information technology. We were learning tutorial and theories in the
course at college. However, we were having no idea about applying our skills and
knowledges in out fields. We started learning about the cloud system in our classes. We were
gaining theoretical knowledges about the google cloud but after attending the seminar, the
idea of google cloud platform is very much clear to me. The google cloud platform (GCP) is
provided by google. This is basically a suite of the services that are related to the cloud
storage which runs on the infrastructure that is similar and it used the google internally for the
products of the end user such as youtube and google. It also offers a series of the cloud
related services that are modular, it also includes data analysis, data storage, computing and
machine learning. For registering into the google cloud, bank account details and credit card
is required.
By attending the seminar, it is also clear to me that the cloud platform of google offers
platform as a service, infrastructure as a service as well as it also provides computing
environments that are serverless.
Technical Skills learned from the exposure:
The products that are offered by the google cloud are as follows:
Cloud SQL: The database as a service that is based on PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Cloud BigTable: This can be managed by the services of the NoSQL database.
Cloud Spanner: This is strongly consistent, horizontally scalable and relational
database service.
VPC: It is for the management of the networks that are software defined for the cloud
resources.

Cloud Armor: This is one of the web applications firewalls for protecting the
workloads from the DDoS attacks.
Network service tiers: The options for choosing the standard vs private network tier
for the networks that are of higher standard.
The Cloud AutoML service is for deploying and training the models of custom
machine learning. The machine learning service is for building and training the models of
machine learning that are based on the mainstream system. The cloud AI also includes cloud
text to speech, cloud video intelligence, cloud speech to text, cloud natural language, cloud
job discovery etc.
Regions and Zones:
The cloud platform of the google is available in 61 zones and 20 regions. The regions
are the specific geographical location, the region is one of the geographical locations where
the users are able to deploy the resources of the cloud. Each of the regions us is the
independent geographic area that is consisting of the zones. The GCP zones and regions are
as follows:

Professional skill development:
The use case and challenges of the industries can explore the solutions of google
cloud which can help in improving the agility and efficiency, cost of reducing and capturing
new opportunities in the market. The fields where the cloud computing solution can be used
are as follows:
Education
Healthcare
Energy
Financial services
Telecommunication, entertainment and media.
There is the map platform that is having the API for the routes, maps as well as places
that are based on the google maps. This is also including the API monetization that is the
solution for the providers of the APIs for creating reports, revenue models, scale APIs and
monitor.
After visiting to the seminar, I have got the opportunities for working and learn about
the information technology skills that are including simple programming languages used in
the google cloud platform. The cloud AI also includes cloud text to speech, cloud video
intelligence, cloud speech to text, cloud natural language, cloud job discovery etc. We have
learnt about how to secure the cloud storage. In the future, we will be needed to give
interview for getting jobs in the Information technology sector. The interview can ask several
questions about the skills and communication. In that case, I will be having confidence for
answering him with the tech terms that are used in the project. During the project, I have
learnt a lot of things such as how we can deal with the clients in the industry sector. The
participants are allowed to choose the programs related to the online platform by the live

workshops and webinars. Depending on the certifications, programs, it can be earned via

totally, I will try to figure out some new methods for stopping the attacks in the system.
