This research report investigates the impact of gender discrimination on employee productivity within ASDA, a UK retail organization. It identifies different types of discrimination, examines their impact on employee productivity, and explores the challenges ASDA faces due to gender discrimination. The research uses a questionnaire distributed to 30 ASDA managers to gather primary data. Key findings reveal that a majority of participants have experienced discrimination, with gender discrimination being a prevalent issue. This negatively affects productivity, leading to lower morale, increased employee turnover, and unattained targets. The report concludes with recommendations for ASDA to address gender discrimination, including evaluating and standardizing pay, reviewing hiring procedures, offering flexible work options, and establishing mentoring programs.
