Diversity can be defined as the concept
which states that each and every person is
individual and unique and it is necessary for
all the organisations to not to discriminate
between people on the basis of age, race,
gender, physical abilities, beliefs etc. All of
them are also considered as equity
characteristics. For this specific case, gender
inequality is taken for the purpose of further
analysis. In most of the company’s
employers discriminate between employees
on the basis of gender.
In order to deal with all these situations
different strategies could be implemented. All
of them are as follows:
Building diversity from the inside out as it
helps to encourage women staff members by
reducing discrimination.
Organisations should educate male staff
members to reduce gender barriers and
encourage them to help women.
Situation 1: In most of the organisations pay
scale of female staff members is very low as
compare to male employees. This situation
takes place due to weak mentality of
employers as they think that women are not
able to perform the way in which men
perform their duties.
Situation 2: In some of the business
entities employers do not provide challenging
jobs to females as they think that women are
physically weak. It is their mind set which is
required to be changes.
Situation 3: Employers in various
enterprises do not consider name of female
staff members for special projects as they
have a thinking that women are not able to
work productively.
