easy to manage the achievement and attainment of objectives and goals in lesser time.it is more
qualification for the job role but she is not allowed to be the head of project management just
because she is going to start a family. In such cases organisations are involved in direct
discrimination with that lady. On the other hand the indirect discrimination is occurred when
there are certain regulations as well as rules which are putting some staff people or employees at
a disadvantage. List and explain with an example that if a person is interesting all the workers
should work on Sundays as it is their worship day so it is a indirect discrimination with
employees.
Recommendation
From the above study, it is recommended that Tesco managers must analyse about the negative
impact of gender discrimination on business environment as it will provide information about
what are the reasons behind declined productivity of the company. When this company is
adopting all the lawful regulations and rules for managing workplace discrimination than it will
be easy to enhance the efficiency as well as overall productivity of the employees and company.
Workplace discrimination is a common behaviour and it can be experienced by any employee in
any manner. It is the responsibility of Tesco management to ensure that there is no such issue
taking place in the workplace. this will make employees happy and satisfied as employees and
staff are the most essential asset of Tesco. This company believes that providing good and
effective services and products to customers is the priority of our company. This can only be
done when employees are working hard and putting their best for providing customers a good
product. When there will be cases like workplace discrimination in the business environment
then company will not be able to motivate employees for working hard. Hence, it is very
important for the management of Tesco to ensure that there is no case of workplace
discrimination at the office premises.
