AI Summary
This assignment focuses on evaluating and choosing appropriate data analysis techniques for a study on gender diversity and job satisfaction. It details the planned use of both primary data collection through questionnaires and secondary data from existing literature. The proposed data analysis methodology combines qualitative and quantitative approaches to explore the relationship between gender diversity and job satisfaction, with numerical data visualized through charts and graphs. The rationale for the analysis plan emphasizes its alignment with the research questions, particularly in establishing a correlation between the two variables. The report also considers alternative data collection methods, such as interviews, and adopts a deductive approach to data analysis, using pre-defined questions to guide the process. Potential challenges, like biased responses, are acknowledged. The assignment concludes with a list of references.

Data collection methodology
The data collection method that shall be adopted with the help of both primary and
secondary data collection methods. Primary data collection shall be used with the help of
questionnaires. Whereas, the secondary data collection shall be utilised for the purpose of
analysing the relevant information’s from prior articles, journals, books that deals with the
topic of gender diversity and job satisfaction of employees (Johnston 2017).
Data analysis methodology
The data analysis method adopted for this study is the combination of both qualitative
and quantitative in nature. The qualitative research analysis shall help to explore the possible
factors and causes that gender diversity has over the job satisfaction of employees in a
workplace. The quantitative research analysis shall help bring out the level of impact the two
topics have on each other. The data collected with the help of questionnaires shall be
converted in to numerical digits for the purpose of extracting the quantitative data analysis
technique. Furthermore, the numerical data shall be interpreted into charts and graphs for
obtaining a better understanding of the figures obtained from analysis (Neuman and Robson
2014).
Rational for analysis plan
The research analysis plan that shall be adopted for this study will appropriately
answer the research questions that have been constructed for this paper. The significant
research question developed for this study is to find out the links with the help of which
gender diversity and job satisfaction are related in a workplace. There have been a lot of
study of regarding these two topics however, no concrete paper have been established to link

the two factors together. Therefore, in order to find out the co-relation between gender
diversity and job satisfaction this research plan shall be adopted.
However, in order to achieve the aims and objectives of this study, the data collection
method may have to be updated to an interview based method where the thirty employees
who were chosen for questionnaires shall be interviewed. The interview based data collection
method shall be more appropriate than questionnaires since it shall give out a more
qualitative based data which is required for this particular paper (Pratt 2009). Henceforth, the
tools used for this research shall be the usage of interactive interviews.
Chosen approach to data analysis
The approach that shall be chosen for this study would be deductive approach since
the research questions have been constructed beforehand (Pearl 2014). Therefore, the
questions shall be used as a guide for organising and analysing the collected data.
The deductive data analysis approach is suitable for this particular research since the
questions deals with a specific premise which is gender diversity and job satisfaction and the
deductive approach efficiently analyses the data in a given structured criteria.
The strategies that must be used to present the data shall be numerical along with
point based. Results shown as figures and numerically will help give the level of impact and
the link between the two topics of gender diversity and job satisfaction.
However, there may be some challenges in conducting the research while the data
collection process since the candidates chosen for the interview may not respond in a justified
way and may have biased responses which would affect upon the results of the data analysis.
