INTRODUCTION
The assessment is based on policy approaches to gender quality where the study will be
outline argument of different authors in individual study.
MAIN BODY
Critical Summary
The focus of scholar was to develop understanding over the concept of gender main
streaming which is implication on men and women of polices and legislation which helps in
deriving equality among genders. As per the Booth and Bennett, 2002, gender equality can be
learned and predicted by social justice and organizational cultures of government. However,
Mackay and Bilton, 2000, discussed about equality among gender which is promoted by
conceptualization which can be done with the help of Three legged equality stool which is based
on three different perspective that is gender, women and equal treatment. Apparently,
Strasbourg, 1998, articulated about gender mainstreaming with context to decision making and
polices of different organization like education, transport, etc.
The perspective of all scholars are considerable for gender mainstreaming but in
completely different context. I agree to the reason provided by the researcher for individual study
because the reasons of authors were of different field or area which promotes disparity among
gender like, European journals focus on women and gender equality which is the major concern
of disparity across the globe. On the other hand, author supported study with policy approaches
of equality that is equal treatment, perspective of women and gender. Thus, as per the analysis it
can be said that trans-formative potential of study which limits gender mainstreaming is
fuzziness in concept which requires coordination and support.
CONCLUSION
The study summarized three articles and there discussion over gender main streaming
which promotes understanding over concept of gender equality.
