INTRODUCTION
Gender equity means fair treatment is been conducted with women and men as per their
needs and requirements (Jaquette and Summerfield, 2020). The notion of gender equity includes
equal treatment of everyone irrespective of their gender or treatment which is different but
considered as equal in terms of rights, benefits, applications and opportunities. The present essay
is evaluating and researching upon intrusive approaches adopted for gender equity in order to
serve the communities and generating positive outcomes for the people.

Gender equity is also known as sexual equality or equality of the sexes putting the focus
on fairness and justice in relation to all the benefits and needs of men and women as well as girls
and boys of a community. Gender equality or equity refers to the notion of empowering women
as well as men to enjoy their rights and work and live their lives as equals within a respective
society. Australia have a respective Ada program known as Australia awards which is efficiently
committed and dedicated to promote gender equity where empowerment of women and girls is
an integral part of the program.
The program encompasses aspects which are important and valuable for promoting
gender equality in the society. The program includes enabling women to have a se in decision
making which automatically and profoundly affected their lines and allows them to enjoy the
benefits that accrue from gender transformative development. Is very common that in several
communities and regions of the World women do not enjoy the same opportunities and benefits
as men drinking then great disadvantages and barriers in their lives. The Australia award aims to
ensure the equal participation and benefits to men and women through the program there are
both the parties will be having a vital role to play as transformative leaders in promoting gender
equality and social inclusion in workplace as well as communities (Nash and et. al., 2021).
Australian government have several development policies in which gentle equity is an
integral part of it. There are certain priorities which are included in developmental policies of
Australian gender equality aspect and these are enhancing women’s voice in several sectors like
decision making, leadership and peace building, another priority is promoting women's economic

empowerment and third priority is ending violence against women and girls in Australia. These
are the three main aspects and please very important role in promoting the gender equality in the
community and different aspects of the society.
The problem of gender inequality has been part of different societies in the world from
several centuries. Now the modern world is been developing and evolving where empowering
women is a major agenda for several societies. Women irrespective of any circumstances says
various gender related constants in their lives from the very beginning. In order to find these
constants and provide ample power two women there was several approaches and welfare
practices being adopted by communities. Some of these inclusive approaches are supporting
women which child care responsibilities by several acts like developing alternative interview
arrangements for pregnant women who are not allowed to travel, providing them financial
support in order to prepare your child minding services while attending the interviews basically
covering the cost of travel for child-minders (Smith and Whitehouse, 2020).
Another approach which is undertaken for supporting women in Australia is for those
who are having a family and willing to study abroad under scholarship programs. Such decisions
impact the whole family of the women and men for which support are provided. Both male and
female applicants are encouraged to involve their partners which their plants and to take up the
scholarship the chance to study. The Australian award scholarship are also developed scholars
with a minimum course duration of 24 are entitled to one reunion with their families being
financially supported by the government that is their airfare back and home.
These are some of the inclusive approaches utilised Australian communities for fighting
the issue of gender inequalities and discrimination in favour of bringing gender equality in the
society and favouring the people through it. The women and girls who are supported in their
education by encouraging them to take international scholarships and helping them 3 different
financial sources allows them to develop their career and have a professional as well as personal
standing in the society. The women and men of the are provided required opportunities for
pursuing and continuing their studies educational well-being. This factor automatically serve the
Australian community back as the people comes back to their home and to their families with
unique calibres and learning which are further used in development of society (McKinnon,
2020).

Moreover, the approach used for helping pregnant women and supporting them taking
interviews and job opportunities in foreign countries as well as in their domestic place of living
will encourage the moral of women and enable them to focus on their careers as well as look
over their babies without compromising on their health and growth. During the travel a
babysitter is being paid for minding the baby while the women goes for the interview. This helps
the women to stay focused upon the interview and to prepare for a suitable job for her self and
for taking care of a baby (Smith, Watkins and Griffit, 2020). These are the certain practices
which are important and utilised by the society for focusing upon reducing the challenge and
barriers developed by gender inequality in workplace as well as in the society by the people and
offering both men and women fair treatment with multiple growth options to expand their careers
live a healthy and successful life.
