On the basis of gender inequality differentiating the earning of men's and women's is putting
huge impact on the work-culture as well as on the economy of United kingdom. In the UK it
is the biggest problem. The lifelong economic well-being of the women in the UK 2015
report state that the economic well being of the women comprises the number of different
factors that come and emerge to the for as various concerns that are reflects at the different
periods of the women life.

Women can be considered as the sole of industries and are almost half of the workforce in our
United kingdom. Our women are the population who are receiving higher number of degrees
and qualification as compared to the men. But sill they continuously earn less than the men. It
is mostly found that men paid higher as compared to the women of the same qualification.
But what does it, are the working for those profiles where there is paid less, they do part-time
job or they have more care giving responsibilities. The average weekly earning of the women
in the UK is $1387.30 whereas for the men is #1638.30. The lowest gender pay gap in the
south UK is 9.8% whereas the highest in the western UK is 22.8% and the lowest pay gap in
the public safety and administrative id 5.9% and highest in the insurance and financial service
is 29.6%. There are various factors that influence the gender income inequality that are as
follows:
Discrimination on the basis of their pay scales and also on the groundwork for the
designation of the job profile.
If the organisation and companies will become totally equal on the basis of Gender
and promote Women's domination in the organisation, it will result in attracting
higher number of women for the work even on the low pay scales.
Women disproportionate share to the unpaid caring and the domestic task.
Due to lack of companies workplace flexibility to serve caring and other
responsibilities, especially to the senior people.

It is the internationally made to calculate the women position in the economy. In our UK the
inequality on the basis of Gender can calculated with the help of WGEA. It is the gender pay
gap which is due to difference between the men's and women's average weekly full-time
earning, which is expressed in the form of percentage of men's economic income.
GEI or GPG = Male average earning- Female average earning/ Make average earning
Pay gap factors which applies major importance to the personal life of an individual are social
or emotional, security or safety, choice and freedom, Equality of choice, opportunity and
financial security. With the help of a survey based on UK's statics economy, it is been
estimated that the adult's weekly average full-time earnings before the tax does not include
various factors such as overtime, part-time and junior employees.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that the wages' inequality on the bases of gender
can be considered as the major issue and several steps are also discussed in order to take care
of it. Whereas, the report also includes several reasons about, being influenced such as
difference in hiring, bias in compensation etc.
