provide equal opportunities to workers either male or female. It also assesses that there are
various aspects that could be considered such as gender, race, age, class, privilege, sexuality,
religion, ethnicity and disability (Gerencheal, 2016). Here, gender aspect has been selected with
respect to Hilton hotel.
DISCUSSION
It could be understand from the presentation that gender aspect is one of the crucial
aspect and thus businesses focus upon such aspect that helps in improving the performance of
firm (Busch and et. al., 2016). From the presentation I obtain effective experience as it provides
knowledge and information regarding different equality and diversity aspects. It helps me in
improving my understanding about the significance of gender aspect within organization. Thus, I
could provide information to HR department regarding undertaking proper gender aspect and do
not discriminate candidates on the basis of their gender. However, they should select skilled and
qualified candidates either male or female. From the presentation it could be evaluated that it
helped me in raising my understanding regarding equality and diversity understanding so that
significant aspects could be attained.
I also think that selection of organisation is very crucial task and therefore it is an
important choice for me to make. I select Hilton hotel for reviewing the equality and diversity
aspect and thus identify gender aspect which is of utmost importance. It helps me to enhance my
understanding regarding selection of candidates on the basis of their skills and capabilities while
not on the basis of their gender. Thus, for this I think that selection of organization is also very
crucial task because Hilton provides equal opportunities to its each and every employee so that
they could focus upon accomplishing desired goals. From this evaluation I think that it helps me
to enhance my understanding and thus improve knowledge of equality and diversity in
workplace (Foster and et. al., 2016). Also, it is significant to select gender aspect as it helps me
to understand its importance as compared to other aspects. Implementation of gender aspect in

considering gender aspect so that equal opportunities is being provided to workers and no
discrimination is being done on the basis of gender (Evans, Grella and Upchurch, 2017).
I also found that adopting gender aspect results in improving the understanding of
equality and diversity aspect that helps in improving performance of firm in market. It could be
assessed in the presentation there are different discrimination acts being discussed. Thus, it helps
me to understand the various acts and comply to different standards so that it does not affect the
workers working within business (Klostermann, Connell and Stormshak, 2016). All these acts
helps me to understand the need of different acts within organization and develop my knowledge
regarding its effect upon employees. I think that considering gender aspect is the most crucial
task that helps in improving the performance of employees within firm. I think that HR
department of organization focuses upon managing equality and diversity in workplace and thus
it results in adopting effective gender aspect into consideration so that recruitment and selection
of workers within Hilton could be carried out significantly (Wu and et. al., 2016).
While completing the presentation, I found that it would be really helpful for organization
in order to understand equality and diversity aspect and thus understand the study being carried
out. Here, it is significant for me to improve my contribution so that it could assist me in raising
awareness about equality and diversity issues and therefore it helps in encouraging workers to
perform efficiently. It also results in improving employees contribution and do not get affected
from discrimination by employer (Bjorklund and Causey, 2017).
CONCLUSION
It can be articulate from the study that the presentation made upon equality and diversity
helps in enhancing such culture within workplace. Thus, it results in reflecting upon such aspect
and evaluating that selecting gender aspect is significant in terms of improving performance of
firm through selecting skilled workers and not discriminating among them.
