Introduction to the Video
The following video is completely based upon the payment gap system that is caused
between men and women working in the organization that are situated at different parts of the
world. Under this respective part, the video generally gives core emphasis on the particular
situation or issue, what is the core reason where women earn less income compared to men
despite of having higher education and knowledge. The situation related to the video is
completely derived from the working women of Britain where it is clearly stated that still in the
current times women are only paid up to 76.5% of total earnings made by men.
Reason as per the experience of people
The first condition identified after conducting several surveys and research is that, most
of the women generally opt to care for their children where they are much concerned
about their responsibilities with the family (Graf, Brown & Patten, 2018). Thus, under
this respective part, they end up working on a part time basis which is below their talent
level and skill with less progression opportunities.
The other part is associated with the system of hourly pay related to both men and women
pertaining in the organization. It is stated that compared to this women are completely
discriminated, where they are paid less for the same job which is performed by men in
the company.
