INTRODUCTION
Gender and racial inequalities is serious concept which is to be understood in proper manner.
Racial inequalities is defined as distribution of power, opportunities in improper way within the
society (Wearne, 2016). It is mostly done on basis of gender and have a deep impact on personally
and professionally. Plan.com, a business communication provider headquartered in UK. Firm deals
in business mobile, broad band etc. and is rising from year 2013. This report comprises of project
aims, objectives, project management plan, WBS & Gantt chart, research methods, research & data
tools, recommendations and reflection on research. Racial inequalities often disrupts environment at
wider level, which results in rise of conflicts, racism etc. It is important for organisation to be
aware about business environment so that racial inequalities are being examined properly.

Research aim- Main aim of research is to implement strategies or tactics to deal with racial
inequalities. It is crucial to be aware about purpose so that decision-making is done properly. The
purpose is mostly examined by project managers who are responsible for handling all activities.
Other aim is to analyse reason for racial inequality and cause of the same.
 Another aim is to examine the application areas of Gender & racial inequality.
 Then, to remove inequality done to everyone at workplace.
Research objective-
 To analyse the difference between gender as with equal views.
 To implement strategies for inequality at workplace.
 To effectively take decisions regarding problems occurred due to gender & racial inequality.

 Specific- It states that objectives which are being undertaken is specific or not. It is needed
to be focused & reflect results. In this report, the objective is detailed as well as focused of
removing inequality.
 Measurable- It states that progress of undertaken objective is accomplished or not.
 Achievable- It reflects that objective which has been considered is achievable or not. The
stated objective is achievable because gender & racial inequality is being faced by
everyone . So, collection of information is easier to attain goals.

Project management plan refers to written document containing how and what steps will be
there at time of initiation of project (Bos-de Vos, 2019). It is essential to prepare PMP so that
necessary decisions are taken accordingly. It is to be done with proper considerations so that all
required aspects are clearly defined. It gives a clear representation of how project will be carried out
& what resources will be required. It requires deep level of knowledge and skills for successful
implementation.
It includes different types of factors which are further explained below-
Scope- The scope of this project is wider as it is being universally focused. Inequalities in
organisation occurs at every phase due to which scope gets widen. Moreover, concept of racial
inequality is explored in brief through which information is also gained at larger scale (Martinsuo,
2018).
Time- It is defined as time duration which will be required in completion of project. So, 11

Communication- IT is required at every phase of business as because team members have
to communicate with each other to complete a given task. In relation with Plan. com, for effective
communication in undertaken research, manager/supervisor use e-mails, mobiles, text messages etc.
Through this, message is properly communicated & also it reduces errors and conflicts. If
communication is not used properly then problems may occur in during process (Jaugey, 2019).
Risk- In project & research, risk is being integral part of business and it is important to
take necessary actions so that it is analysed properly. This research also contains risks such as
social conflicts, rise of politics. Also, credentials used and gathered by researcher might gets
misused by third party. Thus, risks are to be identified so that work is carried out accordingly.
Resource - To complete the research, it is also necessary to be analysed the resources
which will be needed during process at broader level. It is essential to be aware about necessary
resources that are present or not such as HR, credentials, capital etc. These are the necessities
which are required for completion of project. They are to be used in most efficient manner in
reference with future perspectives (Browne, 2018).
Thus, the above given paragraph shows that it is necessary to conduct a PMP so that all
stated objectives are achieved in proper manner. Moreover, with help of appropriate planning it
become easy to carry out decision making process effectively. The above specified elements assists
in completing the project in systematic way. Initiating a plan is easy but running it in effective and
without facing issue is difficult. Also, factors which have been discussed are crucial as they help in

In a research, it is crucial to be aware about the team roles as well as duties so that it is
easier to get the work done. Management techniques are used to complete the project within a time
frame. To do this, researcher uses two tools which are Gantt chart & WBS, are discussed below-
Gantt Chart- It refers to process of deciding, arranging of work, activities through use of
graphs, chars representation. It was introduced by Henry Gantt with motive of planning as well as
scheduling of projects. The main aim behind using Gantt chart is to finish whole work in effective
and timely way so that the goals/ objective will be accomplished. Also, through this race diversity
ratio and area will be examined properly with detailed analysis of graph and charts. It is to be
carried out so that decision making process is done properly (Salardi, 2016).
In relevance with Plan.com, they use this tool in so that tasks are achieved on given time
period (Wentzel-Long, 2019). This is necessary that it is to prepared with appropriate measures to
reduce risks. Furthermore, with use of this risks which are encountered and faced by team members,
task progress are analysed.

It is also a tool used by managers to segment work as well as activities into smaller units

Furthermore, help in reducing complexity of work into simpler one. Through use of this tool, what
and whom the task has been allotted or not is also examined because of its graphical representation.
This chart also assist in analysing time duration & dependencies between task or activities. In

Through this, it is also easy to measure and prepare decision for such weak spots so that goals as

Research methods are crucial to be adopted so that it become easy to achieve goals. These
are to be used when there is requirement (Berthiaume, 2019). It is essential for researcher to gather
appropriate information to increase knowledge & also they provide unpin to completing the project
in an effective procedure Thus, manager of the company focuses on conducting a small-scale
research for collecting information which is used in increasing knowledge or skills for completing
the project in timely way. Also, these are to be adopted after analysing there usage within work.
Qualitative method- In this, its main purpose is to collect and gather credentials of reliable
and good quality so that it can be used by others (Ong, 2016). It is mainly related with theoretical
concept & provides data to researcher for their work. It is also necessary to ensures that data which

has been collected is reliable which can be used effectively. In reference with Plan.com, they can
use this as an effective tool for their research. It is adopted when focus is on theoretical knowledge
rather than numerical one. So, when going with this appropriate decisions are to be made for
successfully completion.
Rationale- The reason for using this approach is that it help in providing of data,
information at deeper level which are useful. Through this, it is easier to gain necessary credentials
which help in successfully completion of project.
Quantitative approach- It is method which mostly help in collecting of data but in
numerical as well as calculation form. It is mostly used by finance team of research for gathering up
all data related to numericals. It need deep analysis of numerical calculations for effective results.
Rationale- Reason for using of this approach is that it provide detailed analysis of portion of
population who are being affected by racial inequality. It includes several methods such as
questionnaire, surveys, forms etc.
From above given paragraph, it has been seen that quantitative method is being adopted by
firm for data collection appropriately. It is because provide with accurate figures & numbers which
is useful for research.
Methods of data collection- Without using data collection methods it is not possible to
complete the research. So, it is necessary to select most suitable approach so that all problems do
not occur during process.
Therefore, there are various types of approaches which are being used and are mentioned below-
Primary data- These are those in which new and updated data is being gathered by
researcher through various sources such as interviews, surveys, experiments etc. (Jibb, 2020).
Only new information is focused by this approach, which assist in carrying out research in
appropriate manner. The sources of primary data are usually chosen and tailored specifically to
meet demands or requirements of a particular research. It is used at time of when innovation &
invention.
Rationale- Main reason for using this method is that it increases reliability of content &
due to which enhance value of project. Moreover, it increases knowledge in areas or field at depth.
Secondary data- This refers to gathering of information through secondary sources such as
newspapers, magazines, radio, TV etc. This is mostly used by researcher as it is cost effective and is
less time consuming as compared to primary data (Hoffmann, 2020).
Reason- It has been adopted because it is is easier to use it & gain data from sources.

After analysing above specified matter, it has been stated that with use of appropriate
methods undertaken research is to be finished within a period of time. High level of skills &
